Lindsay Lohan Doesn't Get Why Hanging With A Drug Pal Is Bad For Sobriety!

The fact that she thinks this "friend" won't hurt her sobriety is practically nutty!

Lindsay Lohan is apparently defending her decision to hang with Vikram Chatwal in the wake of her court ordered rehab stint–because she believes it's a positive step towards her recovery!

Sources close to Lindsay revealed she doesn't understand why the outing with Vik was such a BFD and detrimental to her sobriety!

Vikram was busted for possession of various drugs in April, and is scheduled for 12 months of in-patient rehab, so he could TOTALLY be shedding his negative influence on the starlet!

Lindsay thinks he's a-o-k because the millionaire's been through rehab too, and they can…trade stories? Ha!

Multiple drug specialists have revealed that if Lindsay continues to hang out with people that don't put sobriety on a pedestal, it'll be toxic to her ultimate recovery!

One counselor explains:

"Why hang out with someone whose commitment to sobriety isn't airtight."

Lindsay's only been out for 22 days, so she really needs to focus on surrounding herself with positive people!

Get it together, chica!

Seems to me that Lindsay is still in denial about the severity of her addiction. She lies about the extent of her drug use to Oprah, and she sees no danger in hanging out with her old drug buddies. Doesn't look good.

The reason she doesn't see the problem with it is because at no point has she ever taken any of this seriously. Everything she's said in regards to it has been complete BS. Like I said in a previous post, apparently she's been hanging out with the same people (the ones from her list of people to avoid) she did before and now she's spending time with the worst one. There really is no hope for her at all.

Hey if Lindsay has a handle on what she wants for her life LL is a strong woman she will know who not to hang with . Who is to say they partied together maybe they can help each other with comparing what works in rehab and what does not . Only Lindsay knows

Re: TAYLORTFAIR – Lindsay is a strong woman? In what way? I don't believe Lindsay has expressed anything about Vikram, I don't think she's contacted Perez or anyone else about him.

She doesn't 'get' a lot of basic things. Good luck with that. (The guy has hard cash.)

Re: Bobodo – Lindsay is very strong , LL has over come many issues . To take all the bad media press , deal with people judging her , her family issues and still she is trying shows strength . Not to mention fake people she has come across who have back stabbed her , Rumors , Lindsay has been through so much since she was very young . Some people would have given up but Lindsay keeps trying to improve herself . That is pretty strong . How many people can admit their flaws on national T V ….. Supports Lindsay and commends her for getting up and trying . Go Lindsay !

Re: TAYLORTFAIR – Strong people don't blame their problems on others, repeatedly lie to the media about their addictions simply for the sake of getting in front of the camera, have repeated DUIs (even one is too many) and make the same mistakes over and over. Receiving 90 days of court ordered rehab doesn't indicate a strong person. She is weak and needs years of intensive therapy. Millions of people have family problems, no reason to act like an ***hole and put society in danger while you do it. She STILL needs help.

Re: TAYLORTFAIR – I don't find her that strong. She gives in to temptations which I think shows weakness. You cite stuff most celebs deal with in one way or another and she's help create a lot of her bad media. Demi Lovato dealt with issues in a stronger way and is more in charge with her life and has admitted far more than Lindsay has and is younger. That's just one example of someone I think shows more strength than Lindsay does. I hope Lindsay's recovery goes well.

Re: Kate – Kate anyone knows being forced to do something or wanting to do something is very different . At 17 Lindsay really grew herself up with no guidance . Really what did you think would happen ? Sometimes people lie because they are scared and don't know what to say . How many people lie being pulled over for speeding because they do not want a ticket ? Do you really think the mentality of a 17yr old with money to burn and no supervision knows what to do ? Yes LL has made mistakes and still needs help but LL is taking the time to admit her flaws and is now doing something about them . We all do stupid things when we are young . No one knows what LL went through . How can anyone judge when they have no idea ? Lindsay said she blames no one but herself

Re: Bobodo – Don't we all give into temptation at some point ? That does not mean we are not strong . it is stronger to give in realize it and pick yourself up rather than give up . Lindsay is human . We all make mistakes . The strong will correct them don't cha think ?

Just because Lindsay's hanging out with someone who was recently busted with enough drugs to supply a rock band's summer tour doesn't necessarily mean she condones drug use or plans on partaking. (Paid for by the Lindsay Lohan Learns From Past Mistakes coalition)
