Kristin Chenoweth Duets With Wicked Good Singer Picked Randomly From Her Audience! Watch HERE!

Kristin Chenoweth's show tunes concert at the Hollywood Bowl this weekend was going well, of course — the woman doesn’t have a Tony for nothing!

But then it got EVEN better with a showstopping performance from an audience member!

Kristin selected Sarah Horn at random to join her in a duet on stage of For Good from Wicked, a song Kristin sang on Broadway as a member of the show’s original cast.

Turns out Sarah is not only a Wicked avid fan of the musical, but a voice teacher and a Wickedly AH-mazing singer!

This is why we LOVE live theater! You never know what can happen!

Kristin declared Sarah’s performance “inspiring” — and we agree!

Check it outtttttttt …AFTER THE JUMP!!!

this one of Cheno with an audience member last yr in philly is TEN TIMES BETTER. she ends up saying how blown away she is, calling the singer better than she is, and even seems to tear a bit at seeing this girl/struggling actress taking the opportunity and running with it. She had no idea this girl was going to be good, but said she "had a special feeling about this girl." and it BLEW THE CROWD AWAY.

This was not a random pick from the audience. It was staged.

The world needs more of this, less Miley.

judalon, wrong. The woman was picked at random. She has had a lot of performing experience and knows the song well.

I know the singer, Sarah, and I can promise you it was not staged. This was literally a dream come true for her!

The gal that sang on Saturday at the Bowl was better. Not bad though! I don't believe she was randomly picked. The gal on Sat night at the Bowl wore a green dress. Sarah also wore a dress with green on it. what a coincidence that they both wore a green dress and sang Elphaba's part? Plus prior to picking someone out from the audience, she had just said been talking to the audience about her staying up to the wee hours of the night searching in the internet and listening to different people singing the music from Wicked.

Re: judalon – Nope. She's my friend, and she sings in our church's praise team. She traded her seat with a friend, so she wasn't even supposed to be in that row.

Re: judalon – You are wrong. Do your research, please, before saying something so unkind.

Re: judalon – i think you are absolutely right. I was there on this past Saturday nite when this exact woman was chosen to sing this and everything was exactly the same except Sarah was wearing a short dress!?

Re: Steve Brant – i am so confused.
I went to the show this past Saturday nite at the hollywood bowl. Every single thing was the same..even the comments like "harmony!", EVERYTHING..i thought I was watching the exact performance again (which was really moving) until I realized the young woman who I saw live at the Hollywood Bowl had been wearing a very short dress. Everything else down to every hand hold, every comment was exactly the same.

Re: judalon – I attended Kristin's show in Baltimore last year and when she picked a random audience member and it was clear the girl was not strong vocally. To me, that proved that these people ARE picked at random and it is not staged at all. Kristin Chenoweth is a beautiful, talented person and she would not be so dishonest as to "stage" something so special.

I wish I could afford boobs like hers!

  15. 15

that singer was not selected at random! no way!

Re: Steve Brant – I don't have to do "research". I know first hand that this was staged. I am not being unkind, just honest. Deal with it.
