Now THIS is living your life to the fullest!

Despite her terminal brain cancer, Valerie Harper will compete on Dancing With The Stars alongside Amber Riley, Jack Osbourne, Christina Milian, Leah Remini, Snooki, Elizabeth Berkley, and Keyshawn Riley.

The Mary Tyler Moore actress has already practiced twice with her partner Tristan and doing AH-mazing so far.

We have no doubt Valerie will be a fierce competitor— doctors gave her three months to live back in March and now she has signed up for a physically grueling dance competition.

Regardless of how far she gets, her perseverance is a true inspiration!

Its so great shes doing so well and has signed up for this. The only thing is I think she will get a mass amount of "Sympathy" votes and as sweet as that is, is it fair to all the other Celebs?

If she's good, those votes will be so deserved. Let's wait and see. I can't wait to see her.

She may get a lot of sympathy votes but in the end the best one always seems to win, its 75% popularity anyway. She has my vote and I have not even seen her dance but I bet she gives it her all, good luck to her.

oh god no. is she doing better? last time I saw her she could barely walk. geez.

also, it's not fair to the professional dancer assigned to her. what a huge responsibility.

Re: Dianabbb – True. Who cares who 'wins' these things, anyway. It's all about ratings and sponsors, and Valerie will bring in a fat curve of boomers. What a wonderful thing, for her AND her audience. Brilliant, Valerie. Keep those boots on.

    Terrible, terrible, terrible
What a sad way to leave , this will be the last time (I'm guessing) we will get to see Valerie as a performer, and to end it with some cheap dance moves and feathers, seems so unfair
It would have been so nice if she had chosen to do a Hallmark movie, that could have showcased her dramatic, as well as comedic skills, and left her fans with the memory
    of her talants

Oh come on now. This is digusting. Watch her dance and flat line live on tv. SICK!
