Jay Z & Justin Timberlake Drop New Music Video For Holy Grail! Watch HERE!

| Filed under: Justin TimberlakeMusic MinuteJAY-Z

Justin Timberlake and Jay Z take a deep, dark look at celebrity in their music video for Holy Grail!

As the opening track of Jay's Magna Carter… Holy Grail, you know it delivers (complete with a wink to Nirvana)!

Ch-ch-check it ouuuttt (above)!!!

The video even chops the original arrangement up and turns it into a brand new masterpiece. Definitely worth the second it takes you to press play, LOLz!!

This particular music video is extra special because it's the first clip by a major music star to premiere on Facebook (with a 24-hour window until other video sites like YouTube or Vevo can access it)!! Makin' history!

I liked JT's part - but Jay-Z isn't doing anything different - just another rap about n*gg*rs and b*tches and drugs, and whining about being famous. And I totally don't get the Holy Grail reference. Can anyone explain that?

JT singing "holy grain" was my favorite part of the song, why would they screw that up, annoying.

Re: rosebud99 – Music video was great, however, would have preferred JT's part at normal speed. It sounds better that way.

Anyways, I think the Holy Grail reference is applying to the Last Supper (I think) and Jesus drinks from the Holy Grail and the line in the bible is something about drinking from that cup until it "runneth over".

Don't know what it applies to in the song, but that's the reference @rosebud99.

Re: ohheythere – Thanks - but I'm still a little confused. It seems a bit of a stretch. I think they might just be throwing around historical references to make this album sound important.

Re: rosebud99 – this song and video are clearly a reference to the power the music industry has over people. they could 'take the air of their out of their lungs" and they 'still dont know why they love it.' its all about the dark side to fame and how they cant give up the thing they love even though they have to do what they are told or else they 'put your dirty laundry in the street' out of spite.

I liked it…but without Justin I'm not sure it would be as good though
