While many fans were hoping to hear Ian Somerhalder, Matt Bomer or Emma Watson would be
stepping into the world of bondage cast as the leads, they were hit hard yesterday with a spanking wake up call via Twitter!
After Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson were announced as Christian Grey and Anastasia, those fans went cray cray anywhere they could. And we're not talking about them buying out S&M stores!

Well, we've gotta say this is a lot nicer than what some people have been saying about the casting choices!
But she wasn't alone in her defense because the producer of the highly anticipated flick, Dana Brunetti, also tweeted:
There is a lot that goes into casting that isn't just looks. Talent, availability, their desire to do it, chemistry with other actor, etc.

We couldn't agree more! Considering how kinky this movie will be, the actors sure do have to be down for a lot!
Perhaps these two were the naughtiest of the bunch! Now that's a casting choice we can support!
