Put that TV show down, Alec Baldwin! TV shows are for closers!

Oh, wait, what are we talking about, of course Alec is a closer!

In fact, the 30 Rock star has just closed a deal to host his own talk show on MSNBC!

Lifetime liberal Alec is a perfect fit for the network, which often leans left as a counterbalance to FoxNews. And TV was a great fit for Alec too!

The steady income and stabile setting of a talk show must be appealing to the new dad! He said:

"After two seasons of my WNYC podcast, I’ve developed a fondness for hosting a show that involved talking with smart, talented and engaging people in every imaginable field. I’m grateful to MSNBC for helping me bring a similar show to television."

Sounds like it may be less politics, and more- well, everything! Up Late with Alec Baldwin will air at 10 PM Eastern time starting in October!

Alec talking to people? Sounds risky.

"Often leans left as a counter-balance to Fox News"? Are you kidding me? They are exclusively left. Fox News is a news organization and they report the news. MSNBC is an opinion network and sycophants for the current administration to the detriment of the rest of the country. They ONLY report their opinions.

I like him despite his problems but the show is on too late for me.
BTW, I have never watched either Fox or MSNBC News. I did watch Bill O'Reilly once and that was enough.
