Come October 10th, we'll probably break the Guinness World Record for most pieces of tissues used during a single television episode.
Because that night is the expected date for Glee's tribute episode to Cory Monteith — the one where his character Finn will pass as well, and the one where we'll all become puddles of tears.
Co-star and friend Jane Lynch recently spoke about the episode, saying:
"It was hard, and it was beautifully written. We grieved together, and it was so important for the crew to grieve as well, so we kind of all grieved as a big family. It was really hard to do, but it was a really beautiful episode."
Our heart is heavy.
Just this week, Lea Michele was seen filming a scene on the iconic Bow Bridge that she and Cory filmed on during Season 2. It was a pivotal scene for their characters, as Finn promised to win her back with a classic New York date. Utterly heartbreaking.
Cory still had so much to give, but what he could give in his lifetime was worth his weight in diamonds. We will always miss him.
