Man Tries To Recreate Up With A Bunch Of Balloons And A Dream!

What's that in the air? Is it a bird? Is it a plane? IT'S A TRAPPE!

Jonathan Trappe might not have been trying to float to Paradise Falls with a young Wilderness Explorer, but he was attempting the lofty goal of being the first person to cross the Atlantic with the use of cluster balloons!

With over 300 helium balloons, Jonathan left Caribou, Maine attempting to make it across the pond, but unfortunately he had to make a landing in New Foundland instead, coming up short of his goal.

Well, regardless, it sounds like he had an adventure straight out of Up!

Ch-ch-check out his epic take off…AFTER THE JUMP!!!

this guy was a complete moron. Taking off a few hours before a tropical storm blew in and then a system from New Brunswick - both hitting Nova Scotia and Newfoundland at the same time. Idiot.

Also, writers are idiots - its Newfoundland. Pronounced newfunlan

    Re: Snowbird1964
you are right about the spelling, but not about the way it's pronounced.
Sorry, but it is pronounced as it is spelled. Newfoundland. We hate it when people pronounce it as newfunlan
