Aww, poor guy!!
It seems as though Nathan Sykes endured a bit of stress during the filming of The Wanted's reality show.
Ariana Grande's boyfriend confessed recently of his mental breakdown in an interview with Alex James, revealing the extreme coping mechanism he came up with to handle it.
"Let's put it this way; I locked myself in my room for three days so I wasn't filmed. It was completely a mental breakdown. It was completely a full-blown mental breakdown. I blamed it on the voice though, so it's fine."
Sadsies!! We never want anyone to feel that bad.
But we also wanna point out that this kind of thing is actually pretty common in Hollywood. So he's definitely not alone!
But he knows that as he has his band-mates' support, with Siva Kaneswaran adding:
"The voice was sore and there was a lot of emotions going through Nathan at the time - and rightly so! But all good now."
Aww, such a good friend.
We bet it's a lot easier for Nathan to deal with the hectic lifestyle of a celebrity now too. Especially since he can call Ariana for a few sweet and reassuring words whenever he wants!!
Plus, he's got the release of their new album to be excited about! Coming November 4, Word of Mouth is sure to light up with skies with hundreds of unicorn clouds.
