The singer, who is pregnant with twins, WILL headline the festival in 2018 -- so at least the Beyhivé has that!
In a statement to The Associated Press on Thursday, Bey's Parkwood Entertainment and festival producer Goldenvoice said:
Uh oh! This isn't going to turn out well.
We're used to celebs getting busted for more minor charges, but Sky Ferreira and Zachary Cole Smith of DIIV were arrested on a slew of not so insignificant charges!
The two were just arrested on drug and stolen vehicle charges among many, many more.
After being pulled over because the driver was making vehicle and traffic infractions, Skye ended up being charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.
The whole drug issue is reportedly because she was found with ecstasy in her possession.
But Zachary didn't fare so well with the charges as he is facing two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of possession of stolen property and one count of aggravated unlicensed driving.
Not only was he reportedly driving a vehicle that was reported stolen, but he was also already wanted on a vehicle and traffic warrant. Oh, and officers supposedly found him in possession of 42 decks of heroin!
Even though those charges are nothing to sneeze at, it seems the two were able to get released because Zachary made it to DIIV's performance at BasilicaSoundScape, which was the day after the arrest.
We're just guessing he didn't make it there in the stolen vehicle.
