Measure your life in love.
That's the motto of the day. No, scratch that — the motto of forever.
Episode 3 of Glee's fifth season will entirely be dedicated to the late Cory Monteith. Appropriately entitled The Quarterback, the show will be a collection of performances celebrating his life.
While chills run down our back just thinking about the possibilities that surround Lea Michele's "limited but incredibly powerful" song in the final act, we've now learned which HUGE song will sum up Cory's episode…
Seasons of Love
Holy crap — THAT song!?! Epic isn't even a word doing this justice right now. From the smash Broadway show Rent, the beautiful and haunting Seasons of Love truly captures what it means to overcome struggles in the name of life's true meaning.
This really is the perfect song for Cory.
It glows with optimism, just like he did.
The tribute episode is set to air Thursday, October 10th on FOX. And if you want a taste of what's to come, check out the classic song's motion picture version …AFTER THE JUMP!!!
