I agree 200% with Carson. Plus, he was spot on with his comment in the end. If Miley says anything bad about you, you will throw her under the bus. Besides, whats up with the Lady Gaga comment? Do you really have to mention her 24/7? Get over it, you sound like a freaking child.

I'm all for something controversial. But she's not controversial. Anyone can go out and wave their dick around in public. That's not something interesting, it's asinine. Most people think she's an idiot. The media then hypes her bullshit, then people start questioning themselves regarding their take on her…it's ridiculous. She's an idiot stoner.

I have to agree with Carson. She's getting attention, but that doesn't mean she's gaining respect. As a singer, I'd think you want people to pay more attention to your vocal talents rather than your cleavage. And hearing that she's calling all the shots tells me that her priority is gaining fame and attention, not respect. You can be sexy, provocative, and talented without being obscene, tasteless, and embarrassing. All I get from Miley's actions is that she's still growing up (which is no surprise…anyone who thinks they're an adult at the ripe old age of 20 is kidding themselves…you can still pass for 16 at that age).

Ha Ha! Carson Called you out! love his honesty.

Also the comment about her calling all the shots only means she's surrounding herself with "yes" people and we all have seen how well that worked out (in the long term) with all this "grown up" child stars…

Is this the same Carson Daly that dated Christina Aguilera when she was young and acting raunchy and doing promiscuous videos and photoshoots and sexualizing herself all over the media? Yeah, that's what I thought. Who is he to now judge others?

i thought you were right Perez. Britney Spears at the time of "Slave for you". Umm yeah and she was on Rolling Stone. Same with X-tina. Rolling Stone isn't going to live in the past. They look for what whats selling. It's always been that way. Carson sounds a bit out of touch.

    One word: prude
I think people who don't like her are either jealous, prudes or perhaps both.
Why do people still insist on talking about that Lady Panderer?
Isn't it obvious she is so yesteryear?

About those 'two kinds of people'…those that get Miley, and those that are 'no fun'…
I think almost everyone 'gets' Miley. (not being literal, lol)
Sex/controversy sells. This has been done, over and over.
Just because someone doesn't care for it doesn't mean they're no fun. Trust me.

After hearing both sides, I agree with Carson. Whether it's the business or not, it is a shame that this is what people have to do in order to make their money.
While it may be the norm, that does not make it right, or ok.

Re: stomachacidmonke – I thought the same thing!! TONS of people have graced the cover of Rolling stone, and MANY have been controversial artists at that time. It's the ROLLING STONE!! And artists like Adele have also graced the cover or RS. CArson knowns this. He is just jumping on that same bandwagon bullshit.
