The official, final coroner's report is in.
Cory Monteith passed at the age of 31 from a lethal mix of heroin and alcohol as he was shooting the drug and drinking champagne in his hotel room the night of July 12.
His body wasn't discovered until July 13, shortly after noon, where responders also found "two empty champagne bottles and glasses, a spoon with drug residue and a used hypodermic needle."
Given the time periods in between Cory's substance abuse, it has been suggested that his tolerance was lower the night of his death, which caused his body to react much differently than he was used to.
