Miley Cyrus Warned About Getting Pimped Out! Read The FULL Letter From Sinead O'Connor HERE!

You definitely want to! Cuz it is LOADED!!

See, this all started when Miley Cyrus told Rolling Stone she thought her Wrecking Ball video was this generation's Nothing Compares 2 U — or at least it had been designed to be similar to it!

We mean, we guess they both zoom in close to the face, butttt….

As soon as Nothing Compares singer Sinead O'Connor heard word of the comparison, it would appear as if lil' tiny landmines kept going off in her beautiful mind. Cuz she disagrees!

Not only does she find Smiley's actions to be the opposite of female empowerment, she fears for Miley's long-term results as she believes it's very possible she's being pimped and exploited!

In an open letter she published on her website, Sinead said:

"Dear Miley,

I wasn’t going to write this letter, but today i’ve been dodging phone calls from various newspapers who wished me to remark upon your having said in Rolling Stone your Wrecking Ball video was designed to be similar to the one for Nothing Compares… So this is what I need to say… And it is said in the spirit of motherliness and with love.

I am extremely concerned for you that those around you have led you to believe, or encouraged you in your own belief, that it is in any way ‘cool’ to be naked and licking sledgehammers in your videos. It is in fact the case that you will obscure your talent by allowing yourself to be pimped, whether its the music business or yourself doing the pimping.

Nothing but harm will come in the long run, from allowing yourself to be exploited, and it is absolutely NOT in ANY way an empowerment of yourself or any other young women, for you to send across the message that you are to be valued (even by you) more for your sexual appeal than your obvious talent.

I am happy to hear I am somewhat of a role model for you and I hope that because of that you will pay close attention to what I am telling you.

The music business doesn’t give a sh*t about you, or any of us. They will prostitute you for all you are worth, and cleverly make you think its what YOU wanted.. and when you end up in rehab as a result of being prostituted, ‘they’ will be sunning themselves on their yachts in Antigua, which they bought by selling your body and you will find yourself very alone.

None of the men oggling you give a sh*t about you either, do not be fooled. Many’s the woman mistook lust for love. If they want you sexually that doesn’t mean they give a f*ck about you. All the more true when you unwittingly give the impression you don’t give much of a f*ck about yourself. And when you employ people who give the impression they don’t give much of a f*ck about you either. No one who cares about you could support your being pimped.. and that includes you yourself.

Yes, I’m suggesting you don’t care for yourself. That has to change. You ought be protected as a precious young lady by anyone in your employ and anyone around you, including you. This is a dangerous world. We don’t encourage our daughters to walk around naked in it because it makes them pray for animals and less than animals (a distressing majority of whom work in the music industry and the associated media).

You are worth more than your body or your sexual appeal. The world of showbiz doesn’t see things that way, they like things to be seen the other way, whether they are magazines who want you on their cover, or whatever.. Don’t be under any illusions.. ALL of them want you because they’re making money off your youth and your beauty.. which they could not do except for the fact your youth makes you blind to the evils of show business. If you have an innocent heart you can’t recognise those who do not.

I repeat, you have enough talent that you don’t need to let the music business make a prostitute of you. You shouldn’t let them make a fool of you either. Don’t think for a moment that any of them give a flying f*ck about you. They’re there for the money.. we’re there for the music. It has always been that way and it will always be that way. The sooner a young lady gets to know that, the sooner she can be REALLY in control.

You also said in Rolling Stone that your look is based on mine. The look I chose, I chose on purpose at a time when my record company were encouraging me to do what you have done. I felt I would rather be judged on my talent and not my looks. I am happy that I made that choice, not least because I do not find myself on the proverbial rag heap now that I am almost 47 yrs of age.. which unfortunately many female artists who have based their image around their sexuality, end up on when they reach middle age.
Real empowerment of yourself as a woman would be to in future refuse to exploit your body or your sexuality in order for men to make money from you. I needn’t even ask the question.. I’ve been in the business long enough to know that men are making more money than you are from you getting naked. Its really not at all cool. And its sending dangerous signals to other young women. Please in future say no when you are asked to prostitute yourself. Your body is for you and your boyfriend. It isn’t for every spunk-spewing dirtbag on the net, or every greedy record company executive to buy his mistresses diamonds with.

As for the shedding of the Hannah Montana image.. whoever is telling you getting naked is the way to do that does absolutely NOT respect your talent, or you as a young lady. Your records are good enough for you not to need any shedding of Hannah Montana. She’s waaaaaaay gone by now.. Not because you got naked but because you make great records.

Whether we like it or not, us females in the industry are role models and as such we have to be extremely careful what messages we send to other women. The message you keep sending is that its somehow cool to be prostituted.. its so not cool Miley.. its dangerous. Women are to be valued for so much more than their sexuality. we aren’t merely objects of desire. I would be encouraging you to send healthier messages to your peers.. that they and you are worth more than what is currently going on in your career. Kindly fire any motherf*cker who hasn’t expressed alarm, because they don’t care about you."

Damn.

Do U agree?? Sound off below!!

Sinead has always been a stoic rock. I had the pleasure of working with her at Chrystalis Records in London when her first album came out & the A & R department were attempting to style & market her into this pop princess., Before her first photo shoot she appeared bald making the statement of who she really was! Angelic, pure & a truly beautiful soul which shone through with all of her music. Sinead was never one to be bullied by the music industry types who didn't know what they were talking about as all they were ever looking at was the quick dollar. The same is happening here for Miley & I am surprised that her parents who have experience in this cut throat industry stand by watching.

I could not agree more. Well said! Although I think she should have sent it privately if she could.

Re: The Truthinator – Wrong. Anyway, people know what they do or don't like, and they know what they see daily. You act as though you are the only person who knows the way around a turnip patch. You're not.

I completely agree with Sinead. I really liked "Wrecking Ball," - It's a decent 4 chord tune. But the video - oh GOD no. I have a young daughter, and it's this shit that keeps me up at night. I feel so sad for these talented young women in Hollywood. So much pressure from so many people from such a young age. Women are worth so much more than this. What a horrible message it sends to girls. It may bring attention in the meanwhile, but in the long run, the emotional toll will not be worth it. Too many people are deprived of a childhood in show business. They're a product, and they've been objectified by such a young age. If they're not cute anymore, it's "time to take off the clothes." - to be what, flavor of the week? At such a high cost. If I could say anything, it would be to slap on some clothes, pick up a book, and focus on real things that last beyond breasts and blow-jobs. I know Miley was trying to bring awareness to Dichloric-acid for cancer treatments. Focus on that, and help people, instead of perpetuating this sort of derogatory sex culture.

First of all let me say that I understand as a celebrity you open yourself up to criticism and ridicule by fans and peers alike. I also understand that what Sinead is talking about DOES happen BUT that doesn't mean it happens to EVERYONE.

Why is it always presumed that it is someone else's choice when a woman expresses herself in a sexual way? Why can't women do what they want without being labeled as one thing or another? Get off of your moral high horse and UNDERSTAND that everyone is different and feels empowered in different ways. Just because you don't agree with it or don't do it personally doesn't make it wrong. BYE SINEAD.

i would like to give Sinead a big hug, i think she has been through so much and any person who has struggled with illnesses, whether mental or physical and seeks help deserves my respect. People who suffer mental illnesses are not stupid, they suffer so much and its really sad how people make fun of such a painful situation, Sinead really made her best to not only express her own thoughts but the thoughts of millions of viewers and readers who are confused about Miley's actions. I personally think that Miley has extreme narcisissm and borderline personality disorder and that she is already a drug addict in denial. She says she has everything in control, but not really, everybody else can see it but her. She was not exploring her sexuality by rubbing her ass on the genital of a married guy who is twice her age with kids in front of millions of people with her tongue sticking out , that as she said was calculated it was meant to shock and disgust, is very different than enjoying 3 orgasms with your boyfriend or husband (thats more like sexual liberation) Miley was just selling herself out for the dollars.

At the end of the day Miley Ray Cyrus will not listen to anybody who judges her. She is 20 years old, her world is her oyster right now. She will believe the "big guys" for now.(She is Robotic right now) So let her carry on. Her conscience will eventually hit her. If not well then…..

Miley's got a hod bod, she's young so why not show it off whilst she has it? She's not going to have it this good when shes in her 40's. Stop your judgemental shit and let the girl do what she wants! If shes got it, flaunt it !!

  18. 218

    Amen Sinead!
Miley is nothing but a Molly Whore!!!! who has way too much time on her hands! Its a shame to see her acting this way…

  19. 219

Re: Way to go Miley! – U think Miley is cool? I think your insane… She is acting like a whore because she has no talent and that's the only way she is getting attention! Sad :(

  20. 220

Show the world what you really think of Miley:

  21. 221

Her song (we canst stop) as many would already know above the age of 20,
is about drugs when she says "dancing with molly" she means ecstasy
and she says at one point in her music video about "taking lines in the bathroom"
which refers to cocaine. Miley you really have let me down and i feel as if
you are actually sending the wrong image to your young fans you had gathered as you
    were
    the role of Hannah Montana.
she also said in an interview that kids will here "dancing with Miley"
and adults will hear "dancing with molly"
im afraid miley has taken the wrong path in life so far.

    223

I think she makes a whole lot of sense. At the end of the day it doesn't matter about how many records you sell or the money you make as when everything runs out no-one will care. What Miley needs to think about is where she sees herself when her life is over. If I was her, it wouldn't like peoples memory of me being a whore and taking my clothes off for money and the fact teenagers are seeing this and thinking this is someone to look up too. If she was my daughter, she would have dared doing things like that famous or not x

  24. 224

Miley will only understand all of this in 20 years but until then she has to find her way. As far as being a role model? Well, hopefully parents, teachers and real everyday women will be our youths role models. I do believe our children actually look up to those that are in their daily lives, not some intangible singer, actor or athlete. Therefore it is up to us to teach our children that our bodies don't need to be pimped out and prostituted. Why we think what Miley is doing is no different than a prostitute baffles me and if we think it is ok then we should legalize prostitution. She is selling her body to sell her music. If her songs are good there is no need to be naked on a wrecking ball, it does not enhance the song it just entices viewing, and that my friends is selling out. Hell, prostitution is more upfront, you get what you pay for :)

Finally, the correct analysis. and by that, i mean the closest to mine. ;)
I'm sure Sinead is well meaning, but her letter, its assertions, and its typos, suggest to me that she's not really very worldly, or bright.

When I saw the music video for wrecking ball it wasn't the nudity that disturbed me; I mean it could had easily passed off as a representation of vulnerability.. which is what I thought. Then she made love to the sledgehammer, and what could had been a powerful music video with real emotion is now trashy. Everyone is screaming crazy slut not sex idol or pop icon.

  28. ---Straight_Face--- says – reply to this

That is kinda true….but still Miley should realize this by herself otherwise she will think Sinead is insulting her!
