Keeping Up With The Kardashians may not be keeping up with its kompetition!
The E! show that once commanded huge viewership has hit a ratings low of 1.79 million viewers with its most recent episode, a whopping 40% drop from the season premiere!
According to one industry insider, the end could be nigh for America's first family of reality TV. The insider says:
"This is looking really bad for the Kardashians and their show. When Kendra Wilkinson‘s show dropped below one million viewers they dropped it, so the Kardashian reality show is definitely in trouble."
Well, the Kim Kardashian and krew aren't there yet. But these numbers are pretty surprising. Why the drop in popularity? What gives?
Or maybe fans have just become accustomed to getting all their Kardashian news up to the minute. By the time the show airs, a still-pregnant Kim must seem like reruns.
UPDATE: A rep from E! says there isn't any ratings free fall.
Citing DVR data and increased viewership during the latter half of the episode, she assured us that "Keeping Up with the Kardashians remains a destination program."
