It's nice to see the cast being able to lean on each other during this difficult time!
With just a few days before the emotional and highly anticipated tribute episode for Cory Monteith, a part of the Glee gang was spotted in El Lay on Tuesday afternoon.
Gleeks Lea Michele, Jane Lynch and Matthew Morrison were seen out at lunch after joining Ryan Murphy for a Glee panel at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
After the panel, the Glee co-creator talked about Cory’s upcoming tribute episode:
“It was very difficult to shoot, and it was very difficult to edit. I only got through two tries. But it was done with a really pure feeling of love for him and I think that’s what the episode is about; treasure your friendships when you have them because one day they’re not going to be there. And for young people in particular, I think that’s a really sweet, kind message.”
That’s definitely a message the youth of today should take to heart! You never really know when you’re going to see someone for the last time.
Ryan went on to talk about the episode:
“It was really emotional because I really loved Cory. And Brad Falchuck and I and Ian Brennan, who created Glee, all had very close, good relationships with him. He passed away not so long ago, and we sort of were in a position where, what do you do when that happens? So we chose to write a tribute, not just to the character Finn that he played, but to Cory.”
We're sure The Quarterback will be an amazing tribute to Cory!!
