Only three months after the arrival of their son, Future Zahir, he shared:
And the response to his album, Honest, didn't help his situation either.

Well that explains a lot!
Okay, so it doesn't really explain why Charlie Hunnam said yes to the role in the first place, but it does explain why he so quickly dropped out of Fifty Shades of Grey.
We had heard he was a little worried about becoming a Showgirls kind of joke if he really got his freak on as Christian Grey, but considering he kept saying how totes cool he was with baring his bondage side we were a little confused.
"Charlie Hunnam was never going to do Fifty Shades of Grey. He told his agents from the beginning he didn't want to do it and was going to pull out."
Then why tease us with the possibility of seeing his sexalicious bod on screen doing all sorts of freaky deaky things??
Some are still claiming his backing out was a scheduling issue as other sources have added:
"The role of Christian Grey requires a massive time commitment, a trilogy role in which Charlie and his team were originally very aware of from the start and a major consideration in his hesitancy for taking the role. Charlie is the lead in a massive TV series and his loyalty will always be to Sons of Anarchy, the SOA family and fans."
We guess we'll just have to hope for more shirtlessness on Sons of Anarchy.
And perhaps some handcuff scenes as well? Or ball gags? Maybe??
