Paul McCartney truly believes that we can twerk it out, yeah, we can twerk it out!

In a recent interview, the legendary bassist gave us the feeling that maybe he's amazed at how so many people are up in arms over Miley Cyrus' VMA twerkathon:

"Come on, we've seen worse than that! I watched it as an experiment to check, but you look at it and you say, 'what's everyone shouting about?' I think it was only mildly shocking…it wasn't explicit at all."

Well, that settles it. You can officially shake it up baby now without regret!

We're not surprised that the ex-Beatle has the philosophy of "Let it Be" when it comes to Miley's VMA performance. With those large bears, the whole act was straight out of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds!

Hmm we wonder if Paul would rate Miley's naked Wrecking Ball music video a Number 9 out of 10?

"We've seen worse", is hardly a compliment or a defensive statement. He might as well have said, 'meh'.

I think Miley is a genius, who cares about the twerking shit, the more people talk, good or bad the more income she gets so really, the joke is on everyone else. Find it funny how everyone says "she changed" one, she grew up, that tends to happen with age and two, unless you were real live friends with her to begin with, you don't know her to know that shes changed in the first place.

Tired out topic by now. But its wasn't all about it being too explicit it was just a sad thing to watch because she was obviously severely desperate for fame and she didn't need to do that. "trying too hard" was commonly used to describe her. Hey she for sure got what she wanted. But be careful of what you wish for…

Spoken like a true guy. Female objectification isn't a concern.
