Well, this is QUITE the accusation.
She shared a clip of the part the hitmaker stole, and called her out in the caption, writing:

Holy shizz! Could you imagine anyone else besides Britney Spears coming out with the iconic Baby One More Time!?
No! You probably can't!!
But, as it goes in the music biz, songs sometimes don't go where they were intended (though in this case we'd have to say this song went where fate intended).
TLC was enjoying the success of Baby-Baby-Baby when songwriters Max Martin and Rami Yacoub hoped the lyrics of Baby One More Time would gel well with the style of TLC.
MTV recently learned why the band dumped that single flat, when they hung with Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas to promote the biopic Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story.
"I was like, I like the song but do I think it's a hit? Do I think it's TLC? I'm not saying 'hit me baby.' No disrespect to Britney. It's good for her. But was I going to say 'hit me baby one more time'? Hell no! Understand we're not just passing up hits. That's not even my subject of conversation, so you know, it worked for her, I'm happy for her, I like Britney. Every song isn't good for each artist, and when you're a real artist you know what you believe in and what you really want to sing. So, I'm clear that it was a hit, but I'm also clear that it wasn't for TLC."
Ahh, so they didn't like the potential connotations that could come from a lyric directing a man to hit a woman — hmm, makes sense!!
Though we know Brit-Brit would never sign on to something with that intention or message either, we can totally see their point and applaud them for making a decision based on integrity!
Needless to say, we love Britney and TLC both sooo much, and we cant wait to see TLC's biopic when it airs Monday, October 21st at 9pm on VH1!! Set those DVRs!!!
