We're dreaming of a winter season Wrapped In Red, y'all!
And with Kelly Clarkson bringing holiday classics and winter-time originals to life—what more could we want!?
The newly married Miz Blackstock revealed she's always wanted to create some cold weather cheer in the form of music:
"I've been dying to make a Christmas album. I always get asked what genre I'm in: 'Is this country or pop or rock? What are you?'" she says. "And what's cool about making the Christmas album was, 'Oh, there are no limitations! We can do whatever we want!'"
She adds that the Wrapped in Red album might be the kookiest track list ever:
"It's all over the map. But in a good way."
The album covers classics like, Silent Night, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, and My Favorite Things, then totally surprises with a remake of Imogen Heap's Just for Now!
The original jams will be sure to please as well, especially Four Carats—what Kelly is calling a cross between Eartha Kitt's Santa Baby and Madonna's Material Girl!
Oh la la!
We cannot wait to stuff our stocking with this new music!
