It might not be too wise to piss off a mentally unstable telekinetic, but people can't get enough of getting lost in space with Sandra Bullock and George Clooney!

Gravity landed on top in ticket sales at the movies for the THIRD — yes, third— week in a row!

We're totez happy for Sandra and George, but it's a bittersweet moment for us because her victory means Chloe Grace Moretz was left disappointed.

While we thought her Carrie remake was sure to be a scream at the box office it fell seriously flat.

Gravity earned a cool $31 million this weekend totaling a whopping $170.5 mil cumulatively whereas Carrie only cut a bloody $20 mill.

Maybe the world just isn't ready to see the spunky 16-year-old commit mass murder??

At least she looking fabulous on the promo tour! LOLz!

it doesn't mean its good, it just means the compitition is awful. its the best of the awful movies, not exactly a ringing endorsement.

why would people pay to see this carrie in theaters when they can watch the original for free on netflix right now? a lot of people are sick of these remakes, and going to the movies isn't cheap.

Carrie is yet another movie in a long list of movies that didn't need to be remade. If you can't bring something new to the table, don't bother coming.

thats all they are doing anymore is re-making original movies. they re-make or change the cast to blacks. thats what passes as creative these days.

Gravity was one of the worst movies Ive even seen!! Visually is was spectacular for about 20 minutes but the story line and Sandra Bullocks acting was truly pathetic!!

Re: Lady Amalthea – No kidding - I used to go to the movies almost every weekend (although sometimes not during the summer when all the movies are catering to the teens who are out of school then). If I go to a matinee at my local theater on Senior Discount Day it is $4 then another $4.50 for a medium popcorn (they did away with the small size popcorn like many other theaters did and this makes me mad, cause I can only eat 1/3 to 1/2 of a medium buttered popcorn). Being a senior and living on Social Security and a small pension these days I really have to watch what I spend money on, so a movie has to

Re: enjayelle – thank you! Awful and boring. How does it get such good reviews when there was really no storyline?
