What the WHAT?! Girl, mind your business!

So, if it wasn't for the meddling Kristen Stewart, we could've had Robert Pattinson tying up Dakota Johnson and getting every Twihard out there in a frenzy as Christian Grey?!

Word on the grapevine is that KStew told R-Patz taking on 50 Shades of Grey would be like, career suicide!

An insider spilled of the conversation:

"Kristen told him 50 Shades would be a disaster for him. He's haunted by twilight and being too identified with that role, taking 50 Shades would mean a worse label for the rest of his career.

Kristen told him that creatively, he shouldn't do it, but if it's about fame and money, he should. She told him he had to make the choice between the two, but warned that it would stick with him."

Ugh, we guess she's right. If he does want to build a career away from series and franchises, he should stay away from 50 Shades.

The source added about the decision:

"He pushed it away after Kristen's advice, even though his manager was very much for it. His family didn't interfere, but he knew his mum wouldn't like it either."

Sigh.

What we would give to see R-Patz in leather with a whip in his hands.

LOLz!

His movies since Twilight have all pretty much tanked. He needs something GOOD to do - not the garbage that 50 Shades is. That would permanently tank any career he might hope to salvage after Twilight. Not like he is a great actor to begin with. OF COURSE his manager pushed it - it will probably make alot of $s form the mindless people who go see that piece of junk. The books were complete crap and the movie(s) will not be any better.

Even though I don't believe this story. I am glad Rob did not do the film. If he wants to lose the Edward Cullen image. Christen Grey is Edward Cullen as a human. I hate men who beat abuse his wife or girl friend. I just don't want to see Rob in that light.

Re: plz – Rob NEVER wanted to do this movie, this article is totally false. And he doesn't even talk to Kristen anymore, this is nonsense.

Re: kabuki girl – Water for Elephants was a box office hit and made 3 times its budget. Remember Me also was profitable and made 3 x its budget. His movies have not tanked, that's just lies being spread by haters. Rob NEVER wanted to do this movie, it was confirmed by Variety that Rob was NEVER interested in this silly movie.

There is no way he ever would have considered doing it, which he's already mentioned elsewhere, I believe. First off, the pay was far below what he typically makes and second, I seriously doubt his agent would have even accepted the script for him to look over. Everyone knew from the get go that it would be a career killer. The book is poorly written and from what I've heard, the script is even worse. It's ridiculous how many "bigger" celebrities people try to tie to this movie, when none of them ever even considered it or were approached with the script.

    Good for him!
IMO this movie will tank after maybe the first two weeks, when the fans of this book go to see it.

the books were not boring, but badly written…i wonder how they will make a good film out of it…should be way better than the books….that´s a good advice for Mr Pattinson!
