I loved the Charmed show as a teenager and understood why it had to come to an end. The Halliwell sisters wreaked havoc in the underworld for over 8 years. I got my daughter (10) hooked on it and bought all 8 seasons on DVD. We both love the show. However, if they do a reboot, they should NOT do it with the Halliwell sisters as the main focus but instead with Chris and Wyatt. I would love to see the young men who played as them reprise their roles in a reboot. I think that would be the BEST way to do a Charmed Reboot. If they do it with Paige, Phoebe and Piper, I don't think it would last as long

Re: The Author Yani – I have to agree. Some kind of continuation will be fine but the focus should be on other characters. Of course, if the title was to stay, the characters somehow would have to be connected to the "Charmed" theme, but this I will leave to the people who will be in charge of writing the scripts :D . I have so many ideas and I am not a writer! I don't think professionals will have problems coming up with something exciting.
It's odd that the former actors of this show have objections. Maybe it's something to do with the royalties the rake up from it? Well, it's usually the money factor not the artistic value in cases like this.

Charmed is and was the best tv show with wtiches in it to date. I feel with the propper casting and the storyline without the gladiator esque and titan story line it would be good.. or take the idea of having the sisters and do a new propper Charmed. Im down for this, maybe CBS should air a pilot in the spring and see the reactions and act on that.

Come on CBS we've already seen Charmed. I'm watching it right now. We don't need to see it again. We need something NEW ORIGINAL FRESH I think the world is done with P3 and we like it just the way we left it. Thank you very much

Holly Maire Combs isn't happy about it either. Interesting how the 3 actresses are all against it!

Yes, I hate the idea of using new actors playing the same role some one else did. It really throws the story off. You get use to one actor being one person the bring in another to play the same part. It's not right. Now I think bringing in the Boys as part of the next generation is great ideas. Yes it was nice to see 3 hot women kick but, but make Chris live in the future sine the future did get changed, or add their wife be the bad ass women kicking but with demons. With possibility of the old crew being the dead Grand parents that come to life every so often to help the boys out. That is if they don't mind being on the show from time to time. Make a runoff not a reboot, keep it a classic. Or just think of a whole new idea with a similar concepts. Or make a movie….

Let's see a spin off with Wyatt and Chris!

The worst possible thing to do would be a spin off with Chris and Wyatt. I hated those characters. Seasons 5-8 were terrible because babies were introduced. I support a reboot if they can get interesting actresses to play the roles of the new sisters. They don't need to try to modernize it too much. It would be better to have characters sort of similar to the original Halliwells Prue Piper, and Phoebe. I fresh spin, to an extent, would be welcome. I wouldn't mind them getting someone like Krysten Ritter to play one of the sisters. Anyway, I'm sort of looking forward to this reboot. If they can match the drama and intensity of seasons 1-4, particularly seasons 3 and 4, I'd be very happy.

I loved the first 3 seasons. After Shennen D. left I think it went down hill. To me Rose M didn't fit in as one of the sisters. Of course the show went on for 5 more yrs. so alot of did people liked her in the role. I always wondered if the show lost/changed writers after season 3 as well. It just seemed to have lost so much of it's orginal flavor.

I wasn't very happy about the reboot at first, I suppose only because it's a totally new idea and there are so many ways they could mess it up. But there is one way it could work. and here it is: Angel of Destiny approaches the Charmed Ones at the end of Season 8. Once again they get the offer to relinquish their powers and give up their destiny. Their destiny, the Charmed Destiny gets moved to three other sister witches. They get the book and a whitelighter and there we go. There would always be evil in the world so I don't understand why the Charmed Ones, the most powerful good witches in the world, get a break in between the time when they fought demons and the time when their children would fight demons. It's just too big a gap, and the sisters were promised a demon free life so many times, it wouldn't make sense for them to have to fight any more.

I think that with good actresses and maybe a better magical community, as in more fairies, vampires, werewolves and demons that actually look like they came from hell, NOT just actors in tacky leather outfits, the show could be good. The original was brilliant, that's why we all love it so much, but it had a lot of flaws, and they can learn from those mistakes and gives us three more kickass witches to watch for another 8 years. think about it
