Jamie Campbell-Bower happy about second Mortal Instruments movie

Phewwwwwwww! That was a close one!

As you may know, the Mortal Instruments second movie, City of Ashes, was almost axed due to it's under-performance at the box office!!

BUUUUUUUT, the film has been saved and this makes Jamie Campbell-Bower a very happy camper!

Jamie dished:

"If Constantin feel comfortable to move on to the next Mortal Instruments film, I'm happy for that."

Well, DUH! We'd be happy too if we were one of the stars of the film!!

Though, we are totally glad they decided to move forward with production!

Without the next installment, then we wouldn't be able to stare at Jamie's hot, buff, bod!! What a sad sad day that would be!

Rest assured, that day has not come and let's hope it never will!

I thought Jamie as Jace was excellent, wonderful smashing indeed. I love the chemistry between jace and cary Liliy Collins. The action scenes and display of the fighting scenes just awesome.

Love it the story line, so touching, so intense and meaningful cant wait for the sequel.

Jamie Campbell-Bower & Lily Collins, and in fact the entire cast were perfect. The acting was solid all around. I haven't even heard of the books before I watched the movie. After watching it more than once, it prompted me to read all the books in five days, I was that hooked. Their chemistry was perfect, the actions scenes great. THe only lamentable fact was the music scoring, they could have rendered the song less in your face specially the love scene, and please to all the haters, Jace, I mean Jamie fits the bill perfectly, not only his looks but his voice as well as demeanor. Pettyfer would've been too pretty, and I wasn't overly impressed with him in Beastly, and I was excited about that before I saw it. And please to everyone lamenting that they "killed" the books because this wasn't a word for word follow-up on it, why watch it all? It's the differences and adaptations that make a movie stand out on itself, if they copied everything, where is the originality? They did it in Potter, Twilight, Disney, etcetera. and plus, the author approved any revisions, so why do fans (if they are real fans) fuss? Bottomline, enough with the hating because you didn't get the actor you wanted to play it, and be happy for the hard work and efforts people put and make into creating this film.

I hope they will follow the book more in the second part! A little more conversation, a little less action….
