It's his own fault that his music's flopping. Maybe if he didn't appear like an arrogant disrespectful asshole to the public, they would give him a chance. He's the one who chooses to constantly act like an idiot. Yeah the label have some influence (as regards to promotion), but most of it is his own responsibility.

ah the value of a comma.. guess that's something you learn in your 20's.

Re: missA95 – His image is improving but it hasn't been enough time for a comeback. Also singers, since I am one myself, generally need a good amount of rest between albums or else their voice gets a little stale. He needs months of vocal rest.

He is replaceable. In fact, he needs to have a conversation with Aaron Carter about exactly how fast a popstar WILL be replaced by someone newer, fresher, and more talented with fans.
If he had created a catalog of songs that crossed generations, and genres, he'd have half a chance of making it. But his songs appeal to the lemming crowd–that crowd of teens that will be their nature run after the next "big thing". And in the history of music, no popstar or rock group stays at the very top for more than three years. Hell, even the Beatles and the Stones were being outsold by the Monkees at one point. And Bieber aint no Beatles. So he is bound to drop down the charts–it has nothing to do with his label. Take a page from the history of the Backstreet Boys, nsync, and others………Biebs—your time is about over. Hope and pray that enough of your fans hang on, so you can at least fill arenas when you tour like the Backstreet Boys do and then MAYBE you can have YOUR 20th Anniversary.

What's the best way to get rid of fake, shitty, acting people? Act like an asshole.

The ignorance here is unreal: He has had one platinum or double platinum album after another and has has 4 or 5 consecutive in the top five on i tunes hits consecutively recently.
Def Jam did nothing to promote these songs; his fans promoted them on tweeter. Record companies don't care that much about their artists; only the money they make from them

The career of a teen star is almost always short. Kids are fickle and move on. And the fading star almost always blames his label, then his managers, then his entourage etc, etc, etc.
Re: Twilight – Yes, he should talk to Aaron Carter, and Leif Garrett, and many others who we have all forgotten about.

Re: ivan – You don't know him personally, heard him personally, or seen him personally to know the type of person he is. All you know is what gossip sites love to print-bloated, false, unfavorable articles. Do some fact checking for a change.

Def Jam maxed out on how much they can make off Beiber. He is on his own. That is just part of the business. He seems to be doing fine on his own.

They don't have to hear him out. It's called a "contract". Do you know how many artists have a beef with their label? Super common. Beiby can say whatever he wants… he has a contract and there isn't a thing he can do about it until the contract expires.

Guess no one informed him that there's a 5 year shelf life for teenie bopper stars. His heyday is now on a downward slope. Selena was smart enough to use him for her celebrity end needs and dumped him at just the right time.

    disagree of you lala
selena is standing because of justin
that is praising her and telling her she is special
that is love of your life in music sad that he write

  13. eric says – reply to this

and selena is enjoying all this end dating with justin with rhythms of music a little sad
and energetic "come and get" for example
justin should get out a bit this rhythm melodic
do as "boyfriend" and "beauty and the beat" that was and is successful worldwide

they will drop him very soon. and all his career will hit a bottom low. he is not doing good job . acting like a fool is not going to improve his career. there are nothing the label can do . they have plenty of artist. if he become irrelevant they will go to the next artist. it doesnt matter how big he was. i hope his believe movie does well. other than that i dont think he will survive. ask vanila ice. he had the most successfull debut. and when his last album didnt do well the record label drop him. they dont even take phone call from him. his manager started looking for somebody else. it is business . i use to defend him but i start to believing that he is becoming mental .

Very arrogant and stupid to piss of your record label, guess he's forgotten he works for them, not vice versa! He's got to be careful, and needs to be brought down a peg or two, yes he is arguably one of the biggest global stars, but that's just right now. He's not bigger than Def Jam by any stretch of the imagination and can easily be replaced. I'm sure they'll keep him for now as he can still be milked for millions for a while, but he'll dry up, and if he pisses enough people of in the business, he'll be alone.

Justin Bieber – Today’s Shakespeare some calls, may be right because of the deep meaning in his songs. gives thorough meaning of all his songs.

Bad PR could equal a drop in numbers. Spewing christian values in media and acting another way privately does hurt artists. His label took him higher than the ozone considering they just had a kid to work with. He's at a point where he can't coast, because it's always out with the old, in with the new. When Jackson hit again with Thriller, he'd had a couple of cracks at temporary fame. Michael did the hard work on his dance, tunes, look and delivery to create that genius.

This little Sh(t is all over the news. A label couldn't promote any more than they already have. It's his behavior and crappy songs that are trash and not music. His fans are little 8 year old girls. I cannot believe this kid's arrogance. He just had a few more prostitutes and is high and drunk 24/7. It's messing up his head. He always had a HUGE ego but now it is totally out of control. People are really getting sick of him. He's an ungrateful douche bag.

I am sick and tired of the press bullying justin bieber… I am not even a fan I feel sorry for him…How far can the press go against someone just to see him down after they help him be their? You are al fucking hipocrits and worse are the sheeps who believe them

He is turning 20 very soon. Little girls really like their teen idols to be high school age, end of story.

Re: carmen – Huh? It's Bieber up there bullying his own freakin label. Don't be such a stan fan that you get it all twisted.

#Music Mondays are a digital download release only I believe. But to make that ridiculous statement that it is not successful is not correct.. This something that has not been tried before on this scale not including the free Good Fridays that Kayne West did a few years ago. His singles have topped #1 on iTunes in many countries and his current single has done that as well. I think Justin has a legitimate beef with the way it was rolled out and is standing by what his fans have said to him. 10 weekly singles in a row that you have to pay for has never been attempted before.

  25. ok_then says – reply to this

Re: yes – What a ridiculous statement! Justin Bieber has been a superstar since he was 15 years old and is only 19. He is growing up and so is his music tastes, I think this is a struggle between what the label wants and what Justin wants. R&B and hip hop are new music genres that Justin has not explored, so of course there are some fans of his who love it, and some who don't. You don't change your music genre over night and expect everyone to be aboard.. It takes time to get used to and his is getting positive reviews from the music critics, and is getting respect that he never had before from some who never fans of his in the first place. It's not about being #1 which he is doing worldwide at this point but getting his feet wet with other genres. To go from teen pop to a more adult sound is difficult for anyone, that included that other Justin, but so far this Justin is doing so far so good.

  26. ok_then says – reply to this

Re: ivan – I agree 100% on that comment.. Beliebers did more promotion wise than his record label did in getting #Music Mondays singles out there. Justin is not being ungrateful but is merely stating facts, his fans know better than his record label and he is giving them the acknowledgement. I have heard that his record label was not supportive of him getting into R&B and wanted him to stick with teen pop. His manager has supported his choice to get away from teen pop and grow as a artist. Releasing 10 digital singles that you purchase has never been tried before and having them being a music genre that people are not used to hearing from Justin Bieber is a huge mountain to climb. Trading sales for positive reviews and changing public perception of his music was the objective here I believe. So far that strategy is succeeding.
