DAYUM, gurl! This is one HELL of a cover!!

British singer/songwriter and former X Factor UK runner-up Rebecca Ferguson has covered our favorite Miz Katy Perry's Roar, and it is DAMN good.

She puts her own spin on the song with those husky, smoky vocals! It reminds us of a more hip and upbeat Macy Gray!

We can't stop listening!!!! We just love every performance this lady does!!!

Ch-ch-check out the cover (above), and we dare you to try not to listen to it all day which is exactly what we're doing!!!!

It's one thing to perform a cover of a recent hit while on a show like X Factor, Idol, etc. - but once you graduate to making a name for yourself in the biz, you need to come out with some original material, or at least a retro-classic that isn't STILL posting on the charts! It's like every new artist thinks: "if I do this current song Perez is guaranteed to post it with a "Listen to this cover…" tag line". Pathetic

I was actually lucky enough to be at the recording of this session back in September and she sang this cover along with about 5-6 new original songs from her new album. It was to give some of her fans a chance to hear some of her new material before it was released (and to use for promotion). Great performance - and a beautiful and talented lady……also very humble and grateful for all that she has been given. Best of luck to her.
