Talk about an emotional night!
Well, it wasn't a cry-your-eyes-out episode, but Alex Newell's performance of If I Were A Boy (above) was superbly emotional!
Most people, if not everyone, can relate to wanting to belong at school or even in the world! And in this ever changing world, more and more the youth of our world need to know that it is okay to be different, no matter what that means for you.
Oh yeas - last night's episode of Glee, titled End of Twerk, surprisingly had less to do with twerking as we thought it would have!
Take a look at the rest of the performances from the night (below)!!
Well, okay. There was SOME twerking! Like when Mr. Shue aka Matthew Morrison takes the Glee students across Blurred Lines to perform the wildly inappropriate song down the halls of McKinley High much to Sue's dismay!
We don't understand how she can complain about Darren Criss & Chord Overstreet dry humping the air. What's so inappropriate about that?!
In this episode we FINALLY get a look at Lea Michele in all her Braodway glory, preparing for her Funny Girl role with Ioan Gruffudd by singing You Are Woman I Am Man in front of
Carlisle Cullen Peter Facinelli. The hair is just a wig, but if she wanted to go that route, we dig it!
The New Directions closed the episode with the uplighting number On Our Way and they are just too adorbzies!! But you could totes see the tension between Jake & Marley during the upbeat number… things are NOT looking great for them.
Melissa Benoist literally wrecked the stage with her emotional performance of Wrecking Ball after she tragically finds out that Jake got down and durrty with a Cheerio. Ugh, Jake!! How could you!!
