This is major!

Amanda Bynes has been on the road to wellness ever since being checked into UCLA Medical Center and diagnosed with Schizophrenia months ago.

And now, it looks like she has made incredible strides because it has finally been determined that she is mentally capable to handle a trial for her DUI case!

Her case was reportedly presented in Mental Health Court this morning where the judge read off her evaluation. And that evaluation stated that she is at last mentally capable of facing the charges, which her lawyer, Rich Hutton, did not disagree with.

However, it is believed that this case will likely end in a plea deal as we can imagine a jury trial would be far too risky.

In regard to her conservatorship status, her mental competency will not change the situation because she is reportedly still not able to care for herself.

Maybe those rumors about her being well enough to head home for the holidays are true!

Isn't it funny how her attorney was claiming that she was fine and didn't need help when she was running around setting random driveways on fire, but now that she may have to face the consequences of her actions he suddenly agrees with the diagnosis?
