Chris Brown Wants Medical Marijuana To Subdue His Anger Problems?!

Apparently the prescribed anti-depressants that Chris Brown was taking for his anger problems aren't making him feel too well, or so the singer says.

And it doesn't seem like they're working either because the singer was given three more months of rehab for reportedly throwing a rock at his mom's windshield!

Now, instead of taking responsibility for his own actions, he's complaining about his medication to his buddies and wants to switch it up with medical marijuana!

An insider reveals the impact of the anti-depressants on Chris, saying:

“They make Chris feel very numb and he felt that everything around him was fuzzy."

Eek! It doesn't sound like that's supposed to happen!

Aren't anti-depressants supposed to just make you…not depressed?

The insider continued to explain how Chris felt while being medicated, saying:

“He felt dull and thirsty all the time. He had been taking medical marijuana for the last several years, until the judge said Chris couldn’t take it beginning last summer. It was just another instance in which Chris felt he was being treated differently because of his celebrity status.

Add that on top of the fact the judge ruled that he had to do all of his community service all over again because of questions regarding the work he had done in Virginia and Chris feels like he just can’t catch a break.”

It sounds like the singer just thinks the whole world is against him!

But would medical marijuana REALLY make that much of a difference?

Either way, he definitely needs to straighten up his act!

I don't think it's helping. I think he should go on real meds

Somebody test him for Bi-Polar disorder. I'm willing to bet this is what Chris Brown is dealing with here. Especially after coming across this quote from a psychologist —> "Violence and rage are unfortunate symptoms of bipolar disorder. Many people who commit violent and rage filled acts are often punished or incarcerated without getting a much needed bipolar diagnosis. The behavior is often seen as an anger management problem and proper treatment is not initiated."

So he just wants to smoke pot instead of making an effort to change? Yup, sounds about right.

Re: lacey – I'm bi polar but I don't fly into fits of rage. he's just a violent criminal. and his self medicating with weed is a friggin' joke.

Re: ms. trudy – Well, Trudy, I quoted a licensed professional who is an expert on it. Keep in mind that there are different types of Bi-Polar disorders, and not everyone's symptoms are the same.

In California you have to visit a Dr. and get a license which is good for one year. I got one about 3 years ago (don't smoke MJ but was going to help a relative who grows the stuff cut buds).

lets see. Pot doesnt cause fatal overdoses. It does cause violent behavior. It creates an excellent quality paper for writing on. It makes a nice biodegradable boat rope. Has endless uses in the manufacturing industry. It has powerful aphrodisiac properties And now is considered a medicine. But, people still fear it?

Re: lacey – Thats the problem with society. We are always looking for disease. His problem is probably that he has violent genetics.

Yah the last thing he needs is medical marijuana. This is the reason why people who would benefit aren't going to get the chance to because people like Chris Brown think they can whip out the medical marijuana card anytime they want to smoke. In my opinion you already have to have control over your illness before this would benefit. Otherwise he is going to get high all the time and not even want to go to therapy which would actually benefit him. People think pills and everything else is the answer. Self discovery and control is! I am not saying those things CAN'T help I am just saying its more too it than just medication. I don't have any doubt this guy has no desire to change.

You can't ganja away your anger. Get help for it. Piece by piece it eventually will unravel.
No crutches. That way if there's no ganja or you quit the weed, there's no anger volcano to erupt.

No Dear - ADs don't make being un-depressed - it seems you have no idea what it is to live with a mental condition but I do.

It's true many of those pills make you numb especially the ones given to you when you are aggressive or manic cause you NEED to cool down - it takes some time and when they got adjusted in your system you start feeling better but too often not one of the meds available are helping.

The most effective work is done in hard work therapy by taking responsibility for your actions and learn how to avoid to fail and not flip out on everything - it took me over 10 years to finally be a person I like.

Re: Anuschka – Totally agree with your last paragraph. I mastered biofeedback to manage severe back pain until I rehabbed it back to an acceptable level, and an off shoot of being hooked up to the biofeedback to handle pain was the way it and I learned to instantly manage heart rate and blood pressure by centering and then calming yourself to breathe away chronic pain and work through or over it. I can still do it. I can't do it to the extent of some of those swamis that can sit in an almost airless box and lower their heartrate to less than 10 beats per minute, but it incidentally gave mastery over emotional response.
