kelly clarkson is going to marry brandon blackstock eventually

Kelly Clarkson is a newlywed and a mom-to-be, and she couldn't be happier!

But things weren't always so rosy for the Since U Been Gone singer! She says that before she began dating future hubby Brandon Blackstock, her Christmas was far from merry! She says:

"Every Christmas, it was like, 'Seriously, I'm still pathetically alone? Awesome. I'm still telling people I'm okay with it? I'm not.'"

Awww! Poor Kelly! In fact, the American Idol champ says her love life losing streak went on her entire life before meeting Brandon! She says:

"I only had like three boyfriends my whole life before Brandon, and two of them were good, just not a good fit. I only had one real stinker that I wrote [music about] and made a lot of money off of."

Well, there's your happy ending! Oh, right, and the wonderful husband and upcoming child. Those are good, too. LOLz!

So glad he married her after knocking her up. Most men don't do that these days.

We are ALL alone, basically…and we all have to kiss a lot of toads to find the right frog (prince). Those single years can be tough, but she's had a good career to help her through it. It often doesn't happen until you're truly ready and grateful. It's what you make it.
