Hey, we all come in different shapes and sizes. Nothing wrong with that!
But if you happen to be a little person, you might want to steer clear of Lindsay Lohan!
"She hyperventilated. Someone had to give her an antianxiety pill to calm her down. She kept saying, ‘I’m so scared of them!’”
Um…ok. Couple of things here.
First of all, suuuuper insensitive, Linds. Little people are just that - PEOPLE! If that’s really how you react when one of them walks by, you’ve got to realize how offensive that sort of behavior is.
And second, what exactly are you afraid of? They're little, not zombies. Cool your jets.
Standing 5’5” herself, it sounds like Lohan suffers from achondroplasiaphobia, or the fear of little people. We think it’s sad that that’s even a thing.
Little People of America, the organization that provides support and information to people of short stature, offered some advice to Lindsay on how she can get over her hang up against those shorter than her. They released a statement, saying:
“Lohan should treat her fear the same as she would a fear of any other protected minority population. If that fails, she might find diversity training to be useful.”
Rehab got her clean and sober. Maybe some sensitivity training will help her overcome this obstacle next!
