One Direction Talks The Future & Simon Cowell Teases Solo Careers For The Boys

Okay Directioners, the guys have no intention of splitting up…just yet!

But their mentor of sorts, Uncle Simon aka Simon Cowell, is seeing things far in advance for One Direction in a new interview with Billboard mag!

The X Factor judge revealed his ultimate plan for Niall, Zayn, Louis, Harry, and Liam down their road of success, even predicting lucrative solo careers for all members:

"Eventually they probably will split and up and maybe want to have their own careers. The choice is theirs, and we've got the opportunity to do both. But from what I hear, they're really enjoying what they're doing and we don't feel there's anything seriously wrong here. They're getting more time off and I hope they stay a band for a long time."

Even though the Billboard cover models might have the craziest schedules imaginable, they're currently digging everything about it, and wouldn't change a thing!

Liam confessed:

"We just love what we're doing right now. We've got no intention to change that."

While Louis revealed the group had no idea they'd take off so quickly:

"Who knew we would be here three years ago? We're just going to focus on tomorrow and go from there."

We're CAH-razy for all the musical funzies coming from these guys, and hope they have a looong career and many Midnight Memories to come!

Success and #1 albums looks totes good on them!

I have to be honest, I've watched a few live videos, and from those few, it seems like most of the boys are carried by the fact they're in a group and are also a boyband…less need for great vocal ability. The one who I think seems most talented is Harry and if they were to split up, I'm not sure the others would be successful solo, but Harry probably has the most potential. Like most every boyband, I really do think they'll fade out very soon and the sensation will die down to almost nothing. It just seems like the pattern. But they at least have money in their banks
