Alec Baldwin Blames GLAAD VP For His MSNBC Show's Cancellation!

On no he didn't!

We reported earlier how Alec Baldwin got the pink slip from MSNBC for his homophobic slurs, and now Alec has come to grips with the only person responsible for this: himself the VP of GLAAD?

Wait, what?!

In a recent interview, Alec talked about who he thought was really behind his talk show's cancellation:

"But you've got the fundamentalist wing of gay advocacy—Rich Ferraro (VP of GLAAD) and Andrew Sullivan (blogger)—they're out there, they've got you. Rich Ferraro, this is probably one of his greatest triumphs. They killed my show. And I have to take some responsibility for that myself."

Or, we don't know, you could take all responsibility? We're confused…did they make you say homophobic slurs?

We understand that it must be tough getting your show cancelled based on something you said, but as any talk show host should know, words have enormous weight and value.

We hope Alec learns a valuable lesson from this and makes a change! Or at least hires a a censor to walk around and "bleep" things out for him in real life.

According to gays if you're homophobic, you're a closet queer. So that means Alec Baldwin is gay. And I like the way he mentioned another gay blogger but not you Mario.

Re: Mad Dog – I have seen your posts on several stories so you (yourself) probably are in the closet or have a gay spouse or ex spouse or just really insecure about some aspect of your life.

With that said, GLAAD and PETA overract to pretty much anything.

Re: shaygirl1309 – A pure example why republicans have the reputation for being judgemental and angry (and can rarely get elected).

First off the whole Republican's being angry & trying to judge doesn't make sense here. No matter what you own pollitics are (if any). Baldwin is a die hard Dem. Known for it.
& I do think those who call the kind of names that Baldwin is using are trying to hide who they are. Hollywood does need to be even handed in their treatment of this stuff. If it's not okay for one celeb to say , it shouldn't be okay for the other to say. Otherwise you're playing favorites which means you really don't care about the name calling or it's effects but rather looking to slam the celeb. If it's wrong for Mel Gibson than it's wrong for Alec Baldwin & vice versa.

Re: Mad Dog – That doesnt make any sense. In fact I've never heard of such nonsense before you mentioned it. Where do you get your ideas from? I hope its from some real life experiences and not relying on all the garbage people spill online. Otherwise YOU are just adding to an already overflown pot of BS.

Re: Regina – Bashir described a punishment that forced a slave to put "sh*t in his mouth" and said Palin would be an "outstanding candidate" for such a punishment. Are you saying it's only a Republican thing to be offended by the filthy innuendo? As another commenter somewhere stated, in spite of his lovely English accent, does 'Bashir' think it's culturally acceptable to say that to a woman politician who stood up and ran for Vice President of the United States? We don't say that kind of thing to women in North America.

Anyway, the numbers from Alec's show weren't great. He gave them a reason.

LOL. Alec Baldwin is something else. Instead of owning up to it that it was his fault and trying to make amends, he blames someone else.

Yeah, no shit they're going to want your show gone, you homophobic slurring, trying to stay relevant in the entertainment business, has been!

How about TAKING RESPONSIBILITY blaming your lifelong habit of a vile, nasty, uncontrollable temper and a foul mouth.

I used to like him and he can be really funny, but lately it seems he is a bit out of control.
