So sad. He's always been a crush of mine. Taken way too soon. I feel for his daughter who now has to grow up without a father. I was only two years older than her when my own father died and 10 years later I still miss him. Rest in peace and my condolences go out to his family and friends. Also to the family and friends of the driver of the vehicle.

It is so lame when celebrities tweet their "RIP" messages. It is so cheesy and classless.

It makes me sick that the only tweet visible before the jump is from Miley Cyrus. There is nothing that isn't sacred when you get weirdly obsessed with a young starlet. This terrifying chickenhawk thing you do with young female starlet after young female starlet is super scary and you should be stopped. From Paris to Linsdey to Amanda to GAGA and beyond….now it's Miley Cyrus, Miley, Miley, Miley. It's effing gross. Vin Diesel, Tyrese, Luda, and several others had things to say about him…

Re: Yeah Whatever Asshole – This is after all a celebrity website. I'm sure you knew the driver very well then? Very sad for the both of them, not just Paul. But yes, when a celebrity dies, it is their name that makes the headlines. I'm sure you cannot name every soul who died in the typhoon in the Philippines. Are you mad that people didn't list those names too… just summed them up as a whole?

he didn't have much range as an actor, so I don't really care.

Am I the only one to point out the irony of how he died?

He may have been generous but he and his friend sound like a couple of immature hot shots lacking in common sense. He was in a 35 mph area and endangered other drivers and pedestrians by driving like a maniac. It was his car. He is as much to blame as the driver. A menace on the road these morons should have taken this high powered sports car to a race track rather than city streets if they wanted to show off it's power.

His passing is sad, he was far too young to die, but this shows the dangers of speeding. I can understand that his family, friends and people who worked with him are in shock and saddened at his passing. However, I really think that people in Hollywood who didn't know him and might not have cared (except that it brings them into the headlines), should refrain from tweeting their 'sadness'.

Re: Yeah Whatever Asshole – You are truly right about this.
After reading Cyrus' tweet, I didn't even bother to look on. Yeah, that is going to be of such comfort to the loved ones left behind; Miley fuckin' Cyrus is sad about it. Hallelujah…
(Btw, why the eff does she call herself Miley Ray, because it's not even part of her actual name, 'Destiny Hope'? It's kind of creepy.)

Re: Vanessa87 – So? Even if they did not know his name, they all read that there was another victim in the crash, which makes it common courtesy to wish the loved ones of all involved the best. YWA was spot on, some of these celebs are tweeting it for the sole purpose of "look at me being thoughtful!". Of Walker's direct collegues it is probably somewhat expected to publicly express sorrow, but the ones that never met him? Attentionwhoring.

Half of these people probably didn't even know who he was and are simply jumping on the bandwagon to get attention (yeah, I mean you, Miley).

Re: marlowe – You obviously can't read. The driver of the car, WAS the OWNER of the car, not Paul Walker. PW was not responsible for the accident, the driver was. I don't feel sorry for the driver, I just wish Paul was not his passenger in the idiots death race on the streets. And to be more clear, the speed limit posted on the sign was 45mph, not 35.
