Wow!!!

Being in the Disney family might not be the happiest place on earth after all!

Joe Jonas is getting SERIOUS shade from fellow former Disney Channel star Dylan Sprouse following his tell-all essay for New York Magazine.

When one of the former The Suite Life of Zack and Cody star's Tumblr followers asked him what he thought about the ultra revealing piece, Dylan DID NOT hold back.

The 21-year-old college student wrote:

"First, I think it’s bullshit that they were being robbed of choice or creativity. If they wanted too, they could have told Disney “NO”. Cole and I did this hundreds of times and we ended up all right. The only reason they didn’t is because, like many of the people on that channel, I think they fell for the allure of fame…Nowadays artists just assume they have to do what they are told by their proprietors because there is a “rigid structure to achievement”. It is nothing more than a scheme to rob you of your individuality and capitalize the gain they acquire from such treachery. If you believe this, not only are you incredibly foolish, but you are a BAD ARTIST."

Ouch! Who knew such a cute blondie could light up scorching third-degree burns?! LOLz!

However, when you're as public and honest as Joe is in this column, he had to have known he would get some haters!

Thankfully we're in America and we're all allowed to have our own truth!!

Read the rest of Dylan's scathing response to Joe's article (below)!!!

"I read the article and I have a couple things to say. Most formally the idea that Disney and the corporations 'gentrified them.'

First, I think it’s bullshit that they were being robbed of choice or creativity. If they wanted too, they could have told Disney “NO”. Cole and I did this hundreds of times and we ended up all right. The only reason they didn’t is because, like many of the people on that channel, I think they fell for the allure of fame. Granted, Cole and I had been acting our entire lives, so we saw it as a means to an end (money making) rather than an opportunity to become successful.

Nowadays artists just assume they have to do what they are told by their proprietors because there is a 'rigid structure to achievement'. It is nothing more than a scheme to rob you of your individuality and capitalise the gain they acquire from such treachery. If you believe this, not only are you incredibly foolish, but you are a BAD ARTIST. Individuality is modernity’s most interesting trait regarding artwork and so so many talented individuals realize this. You do not have to become something else to be successful. Not only is it not too late for them to redefine themselves now, it was never too late.

What that article felt like was: 'Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, still shame on you.'

My personal creed? 'Fool me once, you’ll forever regret that decision.'"

Do U think Joe acts like a victim of the fame game in his column?!

I agree with Dylan. The Jonas brothers did have a choice…they were barely known before Disney…when they guest starred on Hannah Montana that's when they blew up. When they did Jonas and Jonas L.A…especially L.A that was it for them…..They should have reinvented themselves as mature young musicians.

I agree, I think what joe revealed (and how he did it) is not only distasteful, but also downright disrespectful for calling out other artists or 'friends'.
Honestly i thought it just made him look like a douchebag

Re: PFT – More like one of the most succesful shows. At least he isn't needy for fame.

I suspect the Sprouse boy is alot like the rest of us. He doesn't want to see one more person playing the "I'm a victim" game. It's not only old, but in this case these brothers made alot of money thanks to Disney. Having something expected of you is par for the course in any job. They had a choice & stayed & made the dough. I shows a lack of integrity to be whine about it later. Someone needs to tell Joey J , the longer the feeling of being a victim (especially when you're not one) stays in your head, the more damage it does to your personality.

while i agree that joe most likely wrote the essay for attention, im not so sure dylan sprouse of all people, has the right to say anything about individuality and creativity. this is coming from someone who doesnt even have a degree yet and has, as he put it, "been acting" his ENTIRE life. yes so may years of wisdom, however since he has been acting his "entire life" he most likely knows nothing about the struggle for your craft to be taken seriously, let alone for the right execs and people to HEAR what you have to put out. the business is easy for no one, and perhaps someone who sees this as a means to an end, knows nothing about this dream meaning absolutely everything. good luck with that little education you're trying to make very apparent, dylan.

Although he was a star for ages, Dylan Sprouse didn't let the fame get to his head. He is currently a student at a university and working as a host at a restaurant - not because he ran out of money, but because he wants to have normal life experiences. Him and his brother have all but dropped out of the limelight. I say kudos to him, that's child stardom done right.
