These photos are truly "Awww" inspiring!
When Katy Perry and John Mayer wanted photos for the cover of their duet Who You Love, they wanted something "pure and simple," but what they got was something far more beautiful and intimate and 100% REAL!
According to the photographer Mario Sorrenti, who shot them over the course of the day in a room at the Gramercy Park Hotel, not only was the photoshoot "very, very low key," it also showed how much the two musicians love each other unconditionally:
"It was really mellow, like the simple things that happened during the day. We did a little setting up and things like that and we just hung out and took pictures. They were both really, really sweet. It was really amazing to see both of them together and it was kind of crazy because it was very intimate and it was beautiful just to see two people in love and hanging out together and being able to document that. I think they were like both very, very sweet. They're just very cool and normal and sweet and loving. It was kind of great because you felt like very… it just felt like new love in a way when two people are very excited about each other. It was very special to be there and document that."
Wow, looks like Mario was kind of the invisible third wheel in this romantic hangout aka our dream job!
And the result? Just gorgeous! Looks KatyCat really does have half of John's heart!
