Lea Michele Reveals Difficult Moments After Cory Monteith Loss & A Fave Memory To Ellen DeGeneres

| Filed under: Ellen DeGeneresGleeLea MicheleCory Monteith

She has been fighting to carry on, and she has certainly been succeeding.

It has only been about five months since Cory Monteith suddenly and tragically passed away, but Lea Michele is finding her strength anywhere she can.

And in recent weeks, she's been strong enough to open up about the horrible loss she experienced and everything that came with it.

While visiting Ellen DeGeneres' show, Lea revealed what life was like for her during the early days of his passing, including staying at Kate Hudson's house, going back to work on Glee, and dealing with the paparazzi.

None of it has been easy, but with the memory of Cory to hold onto, Lea is on her way to healing.

Ch-ch-check out the touching interview (above)!

Cory's BLACK WIDOW is still milking his death for every tid-bit she can; what's with that HUGE JEWISH NOSE?

Whether you want it or not pain will find you, she sounds awfully logic (and thought things through a lot!) for someone in pain. I think Lea doesn't want to deal and face some of the truth, she just wants to be right in her logic. More than seeing her brave he tumultous waves of life, Cory would have wanted to be alive and not restless.

Whether you like her or not. This girl went through a huge loss. She was being forced to grieve in public. Just because you don't like her doesn't mean her relationship was a fake on. They clearly loved each other and now he is gone and she is grieving. You don't know either of them so you can't judge. Only they know what happened between them. So leave the girl alone. She is so strong. I love this girl she is amazing! Stay strong Lea! Rest in peach Cory!

Re: Brit – I don't have to shovel down everything she says either (between her mama, house hunting, etc…. that's awfully a LOT in one platter). Ask any guy in their prime (like Cory), you'd get he same answer: healthy and alive! …instead of Lea being the great carrier and messanger of life!!!

She lost her boyfriend and I personally don't think she is milking this. I think she is just talking about to make it easier for her. Anyone who experience loss grieves differently. I lost my mother when I was 14. I had to talk about it because I knew if I kept it in, it would just hurt more. I feel her on that tip. And as for that nose, SHUT UP. People are all different and beautiful.

Re: Zaina – We don't know what happened between them (although we do have some hints) but surely we do know he results….which brings back some responsabilty to what happened between them. It's ok, she is too young to handle the situation (even a cannonball!) but don't go around and mistify your relaionship and pretend that the mountain is steep. Let's not forget the greater person here: Cory

Re: DNTBSTPID – It's not just he nose, the haircut (bangs) looks great on jessica biel but awful on her, her chin has the boot shape of Italy and she looks like a witch/sorceress.

I think she's just still in shock, grieve is a every tricky thing, it can hit you right away or it can hit you after 5 years "just trying to make a point" And holidays are really difficult times along with every events like that.
My heart goes out for Lea and both of their families ♥

Re: shaygirl1309 – How is she milking it. She's talked about it in depth like twice., The Elle magazine atricle and here. He's not a junkie by the way he was a kind and generous human being. If you don't like her don't comment on her posts simple as that. You always say she is milking it. She isn't. It just recently happened. She had a life before him. She had a life with him. She has a life now at the moment. Of course they will ask her it just happened. That would be so rude if they didn't acknowledge at least the biggest thing this year to happen in her life. She was making the album before e died by the way. You are bias already towards her so everything she does is annoying to you. That being said. What you think about her doesn't make what you are saying to her right now right. Leave her alone if you don't like her.

Lea has handled this devastating loss with incredible grace and strength. She is truly inspiring. She hasn't milked anything, this and Elle are the only interviews she has done. Of course she is going to talk about it, everyone wants to hear how she is doing. She is incredibly composed and has obviously grieved privately and thought a lot about how to manage the inevitable questions with real poise. Big love to her xx

I tear up every time I see her talking about this. My heart just breaks all over again for her, but she has been so strong and has really handled herself so well throughout this whole ordeal. I wish her the best.

I have to tell you this is the one show that I needed to see at this point in my life. Lost my love of my life exactly 30 days ago. I always told everyone we were married for 160 years. (The dummies actually put it in his medical chart). I miss him so very much. When you said my dear that when your heart is broken it leaves a crack which lets the sun shine in it was meant for me. I wanted to end my life prior to that day, but you gave me hope. I know from a show business stand point the loss of a love one may be attached to the stars only however I believe you were speaking to me and trying to save my life. I love you for that and will try and move forward and make those memories of 160 years (lol) the best ever. Actually we had been lucky enough to be in your audience a few years back as wee bid for the privilege a few years ago at a charity action. The best money we spent ever!!!!!!!! However your staff asked my husband to move in a couple of seats in because he had no beat what so ever and could not dance even a little bit. I will never forget that. Bless you my dear. Please keep up your wonderful work. You truly do not know what hearts you touch. Peggy (as far as I am concerned your one and only fan). Happy holidays.
