That's right, Kim Kardashian is apparently not buying the popular interpretation of what happened!
This is so sad and so scary!
A lone gunman entered a Colorado high school on Friday openly carrying a shotgun, and began asking students where a certain teacher was located.
The school shooter, who police say was a male student who went to the school, then opened fire on his fellow students. The teacher the gunman was looking for managed to escape, but one of the students at the Denver high school confronted the gunman and was shot.
The body of the student-shooter was found in a classroom later. He apparently died of a self inflicted gunshot wound. Police believe that the student acted alone.
Here's what Sheriff Grayson Robinson said:
"I want to again repeat to you the suspect has been found inside the school and he has deceased as a result of what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound."
At least two students were injured in the deadly school shooting at Arapahoe High School near Denver, Colorado. One minor, whose identity was not made available, was taken to Littleton Adventist Hospital. That student was the one who was shot, and is considered to be in serious condition.
The second student that was injured was found after police evacuated the school. Is it unclear if that student had been shot.
The incident began at around 12:30 pm and police responded immediately with SWAT teams and bomb squads. The school was kept on lockdown until the police were finished clearing the school. Then they began to evacuate the students and teachers. Police have said they are in contact with the gunman's family.
This latest school shooting comes uncomfortably close to the first anniversary of the massacre that happened at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton, Conn. on December 14th.
This isn't the first mass school shooting in Colorado. Arapahoe High School is only 10 miles east of Columbine High School in Littleton where two teens killed twelve of their classmates and one teacher in 1999.
Another mass shooting occurred in 2012 at a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado where twelve people were killed and dozens more were injured.
This is incredibly terrifying. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the two injured students, and everyone else involved in this deadly and frightening incident.
