I dont know If I would say "age is just a number". Thats a common cliche but doesnt pass scrutiny by the high IQ brain. 1) beauty does fade. 2) fertility does dry up. 3) the only time anybody says that "age is just a number" cliche is when the female is the older one which is ironic because relationships where the female is the older one is the most likely of all relationships to fail statistically (in the usa). But if he decided he wanted a wife 10 years younger than him, he'd run the risk of "dirty old man" labels tossed at him by 47 year old moms. 47 year old women always call us 28-34 year old guys pervs for falling in love with their 22 year old daughters. We dont get "age is just a number" cliches despite our immensely increased ability over women to make gaps work downwards. I'm not anti age gaps. If it wasnt for a gap of more than 20 years I wouldnt be alive. But.. big gap relationships always have higher divorce rates than smaller gaps and require alot of bravery and work. This family will be a childless one. Gaps work better when there are children like my parents had too many of. It can work though if there is love.
"Age is just a number" is just a cliche. Age gaps are a challenge. A greater challenge for some than others. They seem to work better for upperclass people than lower class people.
My dads wealth was a factor in why it worked.

of big gaps, the most successful ones are white male asian female couples (where the male is the senior). Of the statistics I can find, those seem to be the lowest divorce rate big gap couples. I am still desperate to find statistics regarding big gaps involving black females (upwards and downwards). White men and black women are one of the most successful marriages in the usa (stability wise not income wise) but I wonder if that translates their big gaps into being the most successful of the big gaps.
Its so hard to research this stuff properly without the tools to do so.

"age is just a number" is just a paradox. There is an interesting study on the net that my sister emailed me (big gaps are a constant topic of discussion in our family because it IS the hen that laid our eggs). Scientists found that men with much younger wives INCREASE their own life expectancy rate 10% over men with same age wives while females with much younger husbands DECREASE their life expectancy rate 20% over females with same age husbands. My sister found this funny because so many women say "women live longer than men and marrying a younger husband would balance it out" but they end up dying sooner. Thats a paradox. My sister asked me "why is this?" I'm not a scientist but i said "because men have to perform in sex. Women do not. So a man with a much younger wife is probably more likely to work out and exercise than men with same age wives are. Dad worked out all the time and jogged. Older woman younger man is the highest divorce rate pairing so that puts alot of stress on women which reduces their lifespan. There is no bigger killer than stress. Also women are more nurturing than men are. So a younger wife will take better care of an aging husband like mom did than a male would an aging wife"…. Thats the only theory I could muster.

Damn, Robin is a lucky girl! She sure does have a type. Ben is just a younger version of Sean. Both are VERY sexy & talented. I hope he doesn't want his own child as the years go on because her baby-making shop is closed for business.
