american soldier house robbed christmas presents stolen police department helps

This was supposed to be the best Christmas ever!

Cpl. Christopher Petrossian was deployed in Afghanistan, but is finally returning home. He hadn't seen his family in far too long and intended to spoil the heck out of them with a slew of wonderful presents he had purchased off of Amazon.com.

Unfortunately, a few heartless criminals robbed his California home on December 17th before he had even returned home from deployment.

Can you believe the thieves took all of the marvelous presents he had purchased for his family?!?! That's so messed up!

AH-Mazingly, though, the responding officers at the crime scene weren't about to let this war hero and his family get the shaft this holiday season. In fact, their whole community rallied around them and did something totally remarkable!!

Ch-ch-check out the totally heartwarming story…AFTER THE JUMP!!!

Wow! It's good to know that for every a**hole out there willing to rob someone's house on Christmas, there are just as many good people out there who refuse to sit idly by and watch it happen!

Well done, Lodi Police Department! Well done!
