Christmas Controversy! Uproar In Alabama After A Drag Queen Dancing Troupe Is Accidentally Invited To X-Mas Parade!

prancing elites semmes alabama african american gay dance team sexy elves controversy

The Prancing Elites are Alabama's greatest "all-male, African-American gay dance team" and we were tickled pink to learn they were invited to perform at last weekend's local Christmas parade.

Woo hoo! We LOVE it when small southern towns unexpectedly embrace the LGBT community!!!

Unfortunately, the parade wasn't as tolerant as we hoped. Apparently the organizers in Semmes, Alabama didn't thoroughly investigate the Prancing Elites before commissioning them to perform and didn't realize they were inviting a group of scantily clad male elves doing super seXXXy dances for Santa!!

That sounds like an AMAZEBALLZ party to us, but parade goers were less amused!

See how the whole thing went epically wrong in this incredible video…AFTER THE JUMP!!!

Oh noes! That's the opposite of a Christmas miracle!!! The residents got so angry!!!

We understand that the citizens of Semmes were surprised by the Prancing Elites, but they could've done a much better job embracing them!!! Well, not literally, LOLz!!

Do U agree?

Perez, can't you see that this kind of hypersexual BS is what is causing an aversion to the LGBT community from Christians and parents? Why does it all have to be so in your face? I don't give a damn what you do in your bedroom but when you bring it out and parade it in front of my kids as something acceptable (being half naked in public on Christmas and simulating sex) then yes, I am offended and have a right to be. There is no innocence left in this world as it is. I'm sure you wouldn't want to take your son to a Miley Cyrus show at a tender age of three (and if you do then CPS needs to look into that) so why would I "embrace" this travesty at a family-oriented parade I should feel comfortable bringing kids to? Its not about gay or straight. Its about the oversexualization of todays society. Keep it classy.

So…I'm not sure why that mother was so offended…..has she not seen female dance troupes?!?! Young girls (we're talking like 6-8 year olds here) use those exact moves, if not even more sexualized….how is having men doing them more inappropriate than that?!? Also, are we not forgetting cheerleading and poms squads in high schools and middle schools? The moves those guys were using were no more sexual than them and those groups are often revered in these small towns…ugh! There is NOTHING hypersexualized in what these artists are doing. Idiots who think that way have some serious issues of their own.
