Taxi Driver Finds $300K Cash In Cab! And Returns It!

When Las Vegas cabbie Gerardo Gamboa looked in the brown paper bag left behind by a passenger who had been in his cab, he didn't find what he thought were Christmas chocolates.

He found $300,000 in $100 bills!

While a lot of people might have been unable to resist pocketing that much dough, Gerardo made it to the top of Santa's Nice List by turning in every cent! He says:

"My dignity is not for sale, and that's the way I am. That's the way our parents taught us when I was a kid."

So who was the lucky rider who got his fortune back?

"Lucky" is actually a dead-on description. Gerardo's cab company Yellow Check Star described the mystery man as a "famous 28-year-old poker player" but wouldn't say which one!

So was Gerardo rewarded for his honesty? Find out …AFTER THE JUMP!!!

LOL the guy that lost the money didn't even sling him 5-10k but instead it was his actual company giving him a small reward (mostly for PR)..That poker player is a twat. He should have kept it. 300k is a hell of a lot better than 1k and a dinner for two LOL

Umm… the poker player didn't even give this man some money? Jeez. Had 300k in a bag, and this taxi driver was nice enough to return all of it and only gets a little bit of money from his own company he works for? That's bullshit. I know for a fact if I was that poker player, I'd give about 5k to that taxi driver. Wow.
