Well, now we're thoroughly impressed!

Beyoncé surprising fans with a secret visual album on December 13 was absolutely phenom…

But in a new YouTube video, the Drunk in Love singer confessed to recording an astounding 80 songs for her collection of new jams, because she wanted it to be perfect!

Yoncé revealed:

"When I started picking the songs that I gravitated towards, because I recorded about 80 songs, it was the songs that were more effortless to me that stuck around."

She went on to explain that all the music was recorded before leaving on her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour in April 2013, so she was a busy Queen Bey, for realz!

Shame all her songs, on all her albums, sound basically the same. She never experiments. She doesn't even write songs without co-writers and can say she solely worked on something solo. Too much into the production and not the product of the music itself. She never evolves. And it's just talent gone to waste. She will always be a performer; not an artist.

does she mean she worked on all new stuff or just went back and rerecorded the rejects from her other albums

Re: Brent – YES! Agreed! One dimensional "artist" who gets by from hype and trend and nudity! And it's sad because her voice is lovely and she's pretty!

I would have to disagree that she sounds the same, especially on this album. It's so different from anything that she has ever done. The song "Haunted" on her new album is a great example of this.

These songs are for her upcoming movie: out of Versailles (it is the epic story of an effortless queen with slightly too much cellulite).

in other words, she took all the crap she had on tape and threw it into a album. enjoy suckers!

Re: Brent – If a tune of her own blows up big, the royalties are all hers. Of course she's going to try.

Re: Brent – Tell me that the songs on BEYONCE sound just like the songs on DANGEROUSLY IN LOVE, and I say you're an idiot.
