Beyoncé Didn't Own 2013's Top Grossing Tour!! Did She Lose To Bon Jovi Or Pink???

top grossing tours 2013 beyonce bon jobi pink

As 2013 comes to its wonderful conclusion and ticket sales are totaled, we now know who had this year's highest grossing concert tour!

We know what you're thinking — why even bother counting because Beyoncé obvs nabbed the top spot, right?

As it turns out, the Halo singer didn't take the top prize at all, she came in second!

Second place? Whaaat? Who DARES to dethrone Queen Bey?

Well, we'll tell you! It was Bon Jovi, that's who!

Those Jersey boys grossed nearly $260 million on their worldwide tour this year, easily dwarfing Bey's $189 mil.

Pink ($170 mil), Justin Bieber, and Bruce Springsteen rounded out an impressive top five

And where did One Direction chart? All the way down in 10th place ($110 mil)!!! Sadzies! Maybe the boys' figures were lower because their ticket prices are more affordable? LOLz!

Congratz to all, though, on a very successful year!

Why is Bon Jovi still relevant?

A band from the 80's WIPES out everyone else. Gee, I wonder what that should be telling the youth of America.

Re: fafa – uout here in the rural and suburban areas… their name does come up in casual conversation. "hey! you going to the bon jovi show?". I've been asked that by my concert loving friends. I've seen them live several times in my lifetime. They have something other artists wish they had. A loyal fan base. Kind of like what Rush or Metallica has. then there are groups that USE to be able to fill arenas now playing small or midsized clubs. Their fan base isn't loyal.

Re: Songs R me am – Truth. Bon Jovi isn't a celebrity culture band splashing tabloid pages or perez hilton….they make music a lot of people still buy. Their concert tickets are overpriced, but they put on a hell of a show. I've seen them live MANY times. No lip syncing or cheesy dance moves…..no theatrics or stunts……just a band that sings timeless classics. The fact that so many of you are shocked goes to show your head is buried in your ass as well as tabloid fodder. You are comparing a persona that is being marketed to pop culture (sasha fierce….puhleeeez) to a band that is over three decades old that writes music and plays instruments and has a MASSIVE fan base…clearly. Ownage was inevitable, and good for them.

    Re: bytchface

Oohh yes- Well said. Happy to see that real music is still dominant, despite what our social media tries to peddle.

  12. Latavia says – reply to this

What about Jay-z and Justin Timberlake? I thought they would at least be in the top 3.

  13. Canada Guy says – reply to this

    Whatever stops the tears, kids.
Bon Jovi makes MUSIC. They arent about the hype and theatrics.
In another 20 years people will still be listening to Bon Jovi. I dont think you can say that about Beyonce, Kanye or Bieber.
Rock and Roll will live forever.
Thanks Bon Jovi, and all the REAL bands and music makers out there.
You can take your "Art" and jam it where the sun don't shine.

Re: Latavia – Jay and Justin only did like 12 shows. That brought in though 70 million dollars. Most of these other tours did over 100 shows.

Re: fafa – well, we know one thing for sure. Rihannas name is nowhere near this list! lmao it must suck to suck

  17. Vicki says – reply to this

I do not mind that Bon Jovi is No 1, however I am a Justin Bieber fan and I read yesterday that his total gross was $208 million ????

  18. Waqas says – reply to this

I like both Bon Jovi and Beyonce, it's cool to see that a range of artists are in this list of top 10 tours and that they are still successful. However although people don't like the other artists in this list that shouldn't give you the right to disrespect them, the idea that bon jovi does 'real music' and no one else does is ludicrous fair enough you like rock music great but that doesn't mean Pop, R&B, Dance is not real music, this 'my music is better than yours' argument really pisses me off, for people can make the argument that none of this is real music and classical music is the best/requires thought and talent! I'm not saying this is true but I think each artist on this list is talented and popular in their own right!

  19. WAqas says – reply to this

    Re: Canada Guy

Classical Music is the only REAL MUSIC that has stood the test of time, I don't think people will be listening to these washed up bands in 100 years nor does it require any thought or analytical thinking to understand it. They will never be mentioned with the greats e.g. Beethoven, Schubert etc. There's not much that seperates pop and rock music, it's the same sequence, similar chord structures and lyrics.

    Re: LeHollywood

Her Diamonds tour grossed over $140 million dollars, if that sucks she must be crying all the way to the bank! lol

Re: LeHollywood – sory but rihanna 96 show around the world (arabic world and south africa even france), all sold out ! not just ausa ! but evrybody knows that americans (hink they are the beqt so when a stranger does it they just lie (as usual) ! i live in frnce and only 3 sold out the stade de France : tina turner, prince and rihanna, no bon jovi,or beyonce ! so please don't say worldwide but usa which is not the world !!! so… ? don't tell me that the other country doesn't know what they are talking about ! even in johanesbourg only rihanna sold out ! why do you think she got the icon award (the first ever !) now usa do everything they can to shut her down ! as usual !

  22. fafa says – reply to this

Re: LeHollywood – she is , se yourself the list !

  23. fafa says – reply to this

i would like to know the price of th ticket, i'm sure that will mean a lot ! top grossing tour !!!

  24. LoveClassical says – reply to this

    Re: WAqas
I LOVE classical music. It's surprising more artists haven't delved into classical and mesh it with RnB or dance. Michael Jackson was looking into this area before he died.

  25. fafa says – reply to this

top grssing, how much cost their tickets !?

  26. fafa says – reply to this

so, it's not about music, top grossing tour, who has the craziest amount ! it's sure, being number 1 here is not a good place, not 2, not 3 ! where is u2, damn, it's about money here ! not music ! don't take people for fool or maybe they are !

  27. Emma says – reply to this

I saw Bon Jovi in concert as well a Pink. Both very different concerts but amazing. I'm sure Beyonce's is also an amazing show. I was taken to Bon Jovi by a friend and we were both shocked at how much we enjoyed and loved the show. They have been doing it for years and just know exactly how to rock a show. There are a lot of conerts I wouldn't go to again but those are both I'd def see again.

  28. fafa says – reply to this

how much is their fucking tickets !!! all of them !!! because now i understand their fortunelad i never been to a concert before and i won't for sure, i struggle enough like that, don't they know that life is hard enough ! what people ask, it's for some fun ! being number one or 2 or 3 in that categorie it's a shame !!!
