Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball Was Originally Written For Beyoncé?! Get The Lyrical Deets HERE!

Imagine if Beyoncé came in like a Wrecking Ball instead of Miley Cyrus?!

Well it totes could've happened - according to a rep for one of the song's writers, Sacha Skarbek!

The lyricist ignited rumors when he tweeted the following in 2012:

Sasha's rep has now confirmed that although the track was created in a session initially set aside for Yoncé, the writers realized Wrecking Ball would work better with another singer - a la Mileybird swooping in to snag it!

The rep explained:

"Wrecking Ball was not written for Beyoncé. Originally, the [songwriting session between Dr. Luke and Sacha] was booked to write a song for Beyoncé. But as the song progressed, the songwriters realized the song would not work for her."

Good thing it wasn't Bey's style…

Because when Miley released the song in September 2013 accompanied by her swinging nekkid on a wrecking ball - it surpassed 100 million views in just six days AND topped the Billboard charts!

Guess some things are just meant to Bey be!

Asians all together can hear, and see what you're visually thinking.
THIS IS NOT A JOKE OR A MEME! This is the absolute complete truth!!!!
    .
Asians hide their mind reading abilities by having completely expressionless faces so they don't accidentally show facial expressions when people think things they don't like, find funny, astonishing, etc, and Asians segregate so their not nearly as susceptible to that happening.
Asians also segregate, and are untalkative to avoid accidentally saying things that are similar to what people are thinking and going to say.
    .
All Asians are keeping their mind reading abilities a secret, they don't want ANYONE to know they can read minds! They value hiding it more than their own lives!!!
    .
Try thinking, and visually picturing things as wild as you can when you are around Asians, and look for Asians who give people dirty/particular looks for what appears to be for completely no reason, it works if you try enough!!!
    .
PLEASE SPREAD THE MESSAGE!!!!! THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW THIS!!!!!

This song is better suited for Miley. She actually did a good job with it.

You know what would be even better? If people in the music industry were talented enough to write and play their own stuff, and not have to go to people named "Dr Luke" or "Sacha"

^^^ I would strangle these fucking guys for the shit garbage they've put on my ears… fucking lame ass. I spit on you.

Re: PineappleLadi – No, I love Beyonce so much too, but "Wrecking Ball" is Miley's song. No one else could have done it like her. And if Miley didn't do it, there would be no Beyonce swinging from a wrecking ball. Miley made it iconic, Beyonce would have made it ghetto or urban sounding, which is totally not the vibe I get when I hear it. Miley did great with it.

Re: goodtasteishardtofind – did i say miley didn't do a great job with it? No I did not, i think Beyonce would've done it justice as well. Its wouldnt have been "ghetto sounding" beyonce knows how to adjust her sound to fit the form of the song, have u never heard her sing Ave Maria. and isn't Miley going for this whole urban sound anyways? so what are u talking about?

It's a good thing it didn't go to Beyonce, otherwise they'd have to have given her a writing credit for it.

Re: PineappleLadi – she's mediocre at best. She is a good dancer, I'll give her that. However, all of those songs she has credit for writing, she never wrote. If she gets a song to sing, she insists on a writing credit, whether she contributed anything or not (almost always not).

Miley sure found out how to make it hers for sure. She says the song is about what happened between her and Liam. Did she just figure out that during the making of the video?
    Miley is crezzzzy
