This is the kind of sad news that would make you want to drink your problems away, but unfortunately that's no longer a possibility!

According to reports, many hotel chains are now starting to rid their rooms of everyone's favorite amenity: the minibar!

Ugh! It's true! Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt hotels are all in the process of phasing out their minibars! Bye bye, boozy!

Travel expert Jimmy Im revealed:

“The hotel minibar is a dying amenity. [Hotels] are losing a lot of money from the minibar. Not only is it expensive to have a minibar, but people are stealing things.”

So how will guests get their alcohol fix? The expert thinks more of them will start flocking to the bars in the hotel lobby! Hooray for being social!

In other news, the Four Seasons is keeping their minibar! Upgrading it, even! They're adding organic gummi bears! YUM!

Hotel minibars are gross and over priced. Never used one.

Were always better off sneaking in your own booze instead of the overpriced mini bar.

Only used them twice, would rather have a mini fridge. Also some hotels (think I read this was in Las Vegas but maybe other places charge you if you remove their items to but in your own beer, water, snacks, etc.
