The Tonight Show torch is about to be passed once again when Jimmy Fallon takes over for Jay Leno on February 17th!

And in the first promo for the new edition of the long-running late night show, NBC is taking a look back at ALL of the hosts who have ever sat behind The Tonight Show desk over the past 60 years!

From Steve Allen and Jack Paar in the '50s and '60s, to the incredible 30-year run for Johnny Carson. Of course, Jay Leno gave the Peacock plenty of memorable moments, but we were sort of surprised that the network opted to also include Conan O’Brien in this teaser!

After hiring and then quickly firing the redheaded funny man, we thought they’d shy away from including him in the timeline.

He only gets some quick screen time in this (even quicker than they allowed him to host the show) but we’re glad NBC execs decided to not erase him out of the promo completely.

There’s been a lot of history made on The Tonight Show, and even more to come!

Watch your first look at the new Tonight Show (below)!

We’re excited to see your 11:35 debut, Jimmy!

Re: shaygirl1309 – Fuck off. Jimmy is funny and humble, not to mention talented, charming, and quite frankly, adorable. And he appeals to a younger audience that Jay Leno can't do anymore, which helps NBC in the long run. Have you even seen an episode of "Late Night" or watched it for a whole week? You can't judge a show, especially a late night talk show, on one episode. Of course Jay has the best ratings, since he is the most known, or infamous, but good ratings don't mean a television show is good, or liked by critics and fans. "Jersey Shore" had good ratings. And there is COUNTLESS evidence that shows have been canceled by no one watching, but it was the best show on television at the time. And lastly, Jay has been working for over 20 years. I'm sure he, other than the paycheck he was getting, wants to retire. Don't shit on an entire show, network, or person for a single business-minded move. You ignorant nipple.
