It's premiere day, y'all…and Jennifer Lopez is totes feeling Season 13!
American Idol is officially back on the air tonight—with a brand new set of rules and surprises!
On Monday, the producers of the reality competition series revealed the show's new season will include expanded song choices for contestants, along with a "rush week" that follows the Hollywood auditions!
On top of adding more current tunes to their catalogue and a new challenge to the mix, former judge Randy Jackson will serve as resident vocal workshop leader, to help contestants deal with performance challenges!
Although these additions are different then what viewers are used to, the executive producers want diehard Idol fans to know the series is still essentially the same!
It's the first time we're seeing Keith Urban, Harry Connick Jr. and Jennifer on the judging panel together—so we're super excited about the switch up!
Will U be tuning in for the latest batch of talent and tragedies tonight?!
