ZOMG. Look how adorable American Idol has gotten!

The premiere of the 13th season of American Idol kicked off on Wednesday night and it delivered one of the most precious moments in AI history!

While there were many jokes made about Harry Connick Jr. being an unknown superstar, there was one contestant who was, for a lack of a better word, obsessed with the Just The Way You Are crooner!

Munfarid Zaidi even went as far as admitting he reads Harry's Wikipedia page every night before he goes to bed!

LOLz! We can't deal!

Take a look at the adorably cute and HIGHlarious moment between Harry & Munfarid (above) to find out what led the young man into Harry's warm arms!!

On a serious note, it shows how corrupted the industry is where people like Keith Urban and J-Lo are celebrated and known worldwide, but Harry Connick Jr. has to wait for notice, when he is the most talented on the panel, and arguably, the one with the most music knowledge. But on a lighter note, I'm happy "Idol" has gotten back to what I loved about it in the first place and can show these lesser shows like "The Voice" and "X Factor" (that only care about which judge's team) how to have a likable talent competition. Very glad it's back to normal. :)
