One play more…another play, another destiny…this never ending road to more Tonys…the audience who seems to know his prime, will let him read some more lines…one play more!
Hugh Jackman is bringing his huge jacked manliness back to Broadway, as he was just cast in the play The River, which is coming across the pond from London with favorable reviews!
In fact, Hugh Jackman confirmed the AH-Mazing news on his Instagram:
"What you read in the NY Post is true. Not sure exactly when, but I'm really excited. A great team for The River… Can't wait to tread the boards again!!! #TheRiver #thegreatwhiteway"
The plot involves around a nameless man who invites a nameless woman (what's in a name anyway?) to his cabin in the woods (ooh, fuh-reaky), tells her that he loves her, but things get weird when the Other Woman arrives!
Seksi love triangles? Puh-lease sir, can we have some more?!
We hope he has 24601 performances of this! We're just thankful that the powers of the cosmos have managed to bring him home to the Great White Way!
